Want to add a little colour (!) to your wardrobe?
Here’s the trick:
Please don’t go ‘off piste’ into green, purple or burgundy and red.
Too tricky, too hard and there’s time consuming styling involved to look chic and expensive.
Who wants to do that?
Instead it’s time to grab some blue !
I suggest a light blue shirt.
It works wonders under a camel trench as you can see in my outfit here on SHOPwithfifi
Looks fabulous under taupe blazer with blue jeans.
It wants to kiss and hug denim (from 1.5 metres away.)
But the best news?
It will joosh up your black blazer.
It will adore white jeans and black leather pants.
Styling tips:
Make sure that you buy a slouchy one that will skim over the situation but can be easily tucked into your high waist jeans.
Go for stripe, plain blue or chambray denim is just fine.
Or grab a men’s chambray like this one $29 from Country Road.
You want to pull out the cuffs and make sure the collar is tucked inside the blazer.
And if you’re feeling the cold?
Layer the shirt over a white or black skinny poloneck.
