You asked for it !
It’s your hot holiday wardrobe.
If you are off on a hot holiday to Italy, France or maybe Greek Islands ( or somewhere warm closer to home).
This is for you : Your ultimate checklist for your holiday in the sun.

Hint: Start with a carry on bag if you can do it.
No point in flying anywhere with checked in luggage these days.
Perfect when you only have a warm weather wardrobe. You can pack ALOT.
(Although when you see my list below you may need a suitcase. Or two. Haha )

Note: This is just a guide : I am not saying buy everything here: Obviously choose what suits you, lifestyle and budget.

What to take :
Of course you need to stick to chic FiFi approved colours.
No surprises there !
It means more versatility and more mileage from your wardrobe.
I’ve chosen neutrals with white, touches of black, blue, tan and a dash of red and orange.
Looks fresh and chic  (If you pack a wardrobe of all white linen it would so chic too.)

Whichever you choose my philosophy is to look chic. Stay cool. Get dressed in 5 minutes with your eyes closed.
Which is great when you’re on holidays right?

Hint: Before you go take I insist you take of photos of your outfits. Your family will thank you.
No breathing into a paper bag in the Plaza Athènes desperately trying to work out what to wear. Non. Plan ahead.
I like to roll my clothes, put shoes in cloth bags ( thanks COS!) and use those zip cubes.

I’ve decided to start with the new exciting pieces that will instantly joosh up your existing wardrobe basics.
These new pieces will work miracles with your old favorites/current pieces injecting a little cool so you look totally appropriate whether you are in London, Zée zouth of France, Capri or Greek islands.

Note : because it’s crazy hot over there I have chosen a wardrobe to match the heat.

Your new hot weather dressing checklist in no particular order :

Balloon pants : Wear beach to bar. instant updaters. Great with flats or heels. You can do it , I know you can ! Wear like this , black is good because it’s an exaggerated shape so a plain colour is the way to go.

Bermuda shorts: Perfect for the heat. Dressier than beach shorts. With strappy heels or flats. With a long shirt or tank.

Capri pants: Like bermuda shorts really, though narrower. I’d go black. White is good too. Love with a low mule. Good for drinks/dinner with a chic top and strappy heels.

A red/orange tank: Adds instant colour. Looks great with neutrals. Loves white. Under a shirt. On it’s own.

Barrel drawstring pants: Loving barrel pants ATM. I ordered those in khaki . You’ll wear day to evening, beach to bar. Heels or flats. Comfortable, cool and flattering. Get in every colour.

A red /orange headscarf: such a cool way to add instant colour and laid back cool. Tie your beach hair back in the heat.

white denim culottes: Same as bermudas but more casual. You could wear anywhere. Beach to drinks. Low key. Easy.

A red stripe Tee: Again a bit of red and white, wear around your waist, around your shoulders, over a bikini. Of course
any stripe tee is handy dot com. Great when you want a long sleeve tee to just toss on.

A brown every day dress:  Easy, chic, not too bare, this is great and always right . Toss it on and go.

A short bomber jacket : (I’ve ordered this) It’s your new shape jacket, casual but chic. Wear instead of a blazer. Go forneutral or white. Works over a white tank with shorts, with jeans, with a skirt. Over a dress.

A matching set: It might be stripe (!) or just plain linen, this is great , love the vest. Gives good structure, a bit of polish when you need to look put together in the heat in the city. Black , white or neutral.

Holiday travel wardrobe basics you should already have ( or need now!)

Dresses:
A Long one for the beach: Toss it over your swimsuit. Black or white.
A chic Midi for wandering the city as a tourist/shopping in the heat.
A kaftan: You’ll live in this.
A midi halter neck dress. Good for going out .

Shirts :
A white cover up beach shirt: and this stripe is good: does exactly what it says
A blue shirt: it’s great with white , chic with brown, wear open over a white tank, tucked into chinos.
A red shirt.Wear over a white tank and white shorts/neutral pants like this
Might be in stripe: or for a bit of polish this is great .
A denim Shirt: Love this one with jeans.

Tops
A shoulder pad tee: gives good structure, this is good too, chicer than a plain old tee.
Brown shoulder pad tank: I have this and its’s great. ( Big go down a size)
An every day white or black tank, great for layering. Pivotal to your wardrobe. Cut way is more flattering.
An orange tank to wear with neutrals and white.  Of course !
A pretty evening top: I’ve ordered this ; casual but dressy , wear with a black tank under it , love this blouse.
A statement top: It‘s more elevated than a tee , one shoulder is good , love this , just as casual. drinks to dinner.

Skirts
A khaki wrap skirt: of course beige is chic too :with a white tank and flats , easy but elevated, A line is always flattering.
A white full skirt: Go anywhere in this , beach to sight seeing , every day, with flats or sneakers or strappy sandals
A black midi skirt: ditto !

Pants:
White or black drawstring laid back wide leg pants :  perfect for the beach and casual hot days.
barrel beige chinos: You need camel chinos or here, love these ! with strappy heels and a top, with sneakers and a tee.
You’d better pack all your Uniqlo barrel leg jersey miracle pants: perfect for travel
Jeans: You will need white and blue denim. Barrel and baggy. Wide leg is good too.

A knit: to throw on chilly summer nights ( or if it gets cold every again !) This is great as it’s shorter.

Jackets : Yes, it’s a heatwave weather in Europe but you still may need a trench or a crop trench and a blazer

Accessories.
Cross body bag:  THIS IS the best ! Wear it across body, or on shoulder, I bought it, thrashed it, loved it on my last trip to Provence. Can fit everything in from water to umbrella, great in summer too. Has an all important zip. This is good too in tan suede.
The only bag you need really is the Uniqlo cross body : THE ultimate travel bag ( If you know you know!)
A raffia clutch for night is chic,  add instant joosh or cross body mini phone bag.
A big tote in canvas or a straw tote, And this is chic. Wear with everything. Beach holiday 101.

Sneakers: Go for multi colour and neutral.
white lace up flats are cool. They look great with pants or skirts. Good for the city.
And these with a dash of orange and khaki.
Laceless sneakers are great. Easy to pull on. When you don’t want to stub your toes in the city, or on ruins!
Flat sandals: Love them in tan or black or white.
Red strappy flats or thongs. It’s a dash of colour , all you need.
Mesh flats: white is great. Or brown like this.
White Birks are fab, light and so chic
Sunglasses: These are my fav, and bought these too
A straw hat :these are the best chicest hats and packable too.
Otherwise buy a big beach hat when you get there !

Hope that helps : Let me know if you have any questions , safe travels.

PS I am so exhausted writing this , think I need a holiday Haha.
