The secret to easy effortless style ?
Don’t keep wearing those old classics you’ve had years. And then try to joosh them up with bad accessories like beads and scarves and silly shit like that.
It doesn’t work. Just makes it worse!

You must update classics like a navy blazer , white tee and jeans.
The cut, proportions, lapel, armhole, length and shoulders all change !
Say goodbye to that navy, short, tight shrunken blazer that’s been in your wardrobe for too long. Which you were told you could wear forever. You can’t ! ( it might come back after 30 years) (feel free to wait !)
It needs to go on holidays with your old skinny jeans.  They will be very happy together.

Update to a new shape navy blazer : It needs to be long, oversized and slouchy.
Jeans need to be loose, can be bootcut ( or baggy!) and in a lighter denim.
A white tee shirt that’s round neck and a little roomy.
Accessories ?
Just pull on chic ballet flats and a relaxed bag in the same colour tones.
Suddenly you look modern, chic & effortless.
Nothing easier in my book !

The best thing about updating your classics?
The new modern shapes do all talking ! You don’t need to waste time when you’re getting dressed, trying lots of accessories and then attempting to joosh when things don’t look right.
With a new shape slouchy blazer, white tee and updated  jeans all you do is put them on.
Instant chic. They just look good. No bloody fluffing around, they do all the hard work for you. Out the door!

Styling tips:
* Cropped bootcut jeans look great with ballet flats. As so these fabulous straight jeans. Hint: Just scissor off your self if the jeans are too long.  ( yes : longer and wider jeans will look just as good)
* Shoes and bags don’t need to match just make sure they tone in together.
* A big oversized blazer will instantly update your old straight/narrow/skinny jeans.
But baggy jeans AND a baggy blazer looks cool too.
* Stick to three colours on the body: So white, denim and blue. Why?
Two colours can be too matchy match and more than three colours?  Just takes too long to get right and to style.
* The power and the fashion edge comes from strong shapes NOT from kooky colour, pesky prints or frumpy florals.

Now you can steal her style !
