Steal my style ! Layer up unexpected pieces #simplechic #agelessdressing.

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again.
A thoughtful wardrobe is a sustainable wardrobe.
Because if you plan your shopping you will build a wardrobe of versatile pieces.
Which means you won’t struggle getting dressed.
And you won’t start sobbing every morning complaining you have nothing to wear.
There’s enough to cry about these days without having a meltdown about your outfit !
The solution?
Invest in ‘expensive colours’ in new updated, modern shapes.
All these pieces love each other.
They’ll be no arguments or tears or tanties (read bright ugly colours) because they all want to be together.
This makes dressing EASY.
Case in point : my outfits here from SHOPwithFiFi.
You want a fabulous puffa in a light grey or cream.
Pleather pants to add texture and a fashion edge.
White boots to inject instant groove.
Oh and a trench, sneakers and a slouchy knit.#nobrainer.
Styling tricks:
Keep the same colour on top of the body, so cream with cream, brown with brown etc.
Make sure any black pieces have texture and are in a new modern shape.
That means saying hello to black pleather shorts or pants ( more on SHOP pages)
(Boring black straight non de la non pants be gone !)
Think about mixing up unexpected styles: so try a casual puffa jacket with white heels.
Or toss your long knee high boots with leather shorts.
Hint: if you can’t do cream long boots then try taupe/brown ( see here)
It’s easy and effortless. And ageless.
Now you can steal my style !
