Need now: knee high boots in tan, white & brown #luxetoless

Here’s the thing:
Time to give those ankle boots a little rest.
Air kiss them on both cheeks, say aurevoir, then wave them goodbye to store them.
Combat boots will do the same thing and look soooo much cooler.
(Hint: if you do love an refined ankle boot – with pants, never with skirts – then these
with a low kitten heel from Arket are fabulous).
You want an instant joosh up of your wardrobe don’t you?
Yes, please!
Time to update to knee high boots.
They can change your whole wardrobe.
I know because my white Zara boots last winter changed my life.
Suddenly anything I owned looked instantly chic and cool. #miracle.
Because in the words of any fashion editor “it’s the boots that sell the coat”.
How to wear?
They’re fabulous with a long -over the knee – skirt or floaty dress.
But you can also pull them on under wide leg jeans and pants.
Oh and they look great with leather culottes.
See here last winter how I was wearing them on SHOPwithfifi
The best news: white and tan boots just adore camel coats.
( because I am all about building a wardrobe of versatile pieces that work together).
If you feel you can’t carry off white boots then chillax!
Just invest in tan or any brown or taupe.
Please don’t cry, long black boots are just fine.
Just make sure they are knee high and that you then lighten up the outfit with a dollop of cream and a dash of beige and brown.
In terms of heels: Lower is better. Go for a block heel or a low kitten heel.
Walkable and wearable.
Because that’s the idea isn’t it? Comfort is key!
Here’s my picks of the best knee high boots luxe to less.
