The pleather jacket
It’s a blouson rather than a biker jacket. Very phoebe Philo. A chic colour. Loose with a high neck. It’s so cool, it’s an instant wardrobe updater. Throw back with any of your old pieces, they will suddenly look cool. Wear with a flirty Aline skirt or pants / jeans over a white tee or knit. Loafers, kitten heels or knee high boots in winter.
Red and brown stripe knit
It’s the striped top you never knew you needed : the red and the brown looks so chic together. Looks new. It’s not too nautical/jaunty which navy and white can seem sometimes. Love it with jeans or slouchy brown leather pants. Under tan camel trench. It’s that teeny bit of red – yee gads colour ! But not too much to overwhelm you right?
Barrel jeans:
Are they carrot leg or barrel carrot leg? They have changed the name as far as I can tell ! Who cares I think these are my fav jeans: now cropped mid rise. I’ve got in light grey grey, white denim and blue denim . Go up a size so they sit lower . So comfortable and baggy but not too much volume. Dare I say flattering ! I wear a size 42.
Brown suede slingbacks
These are perfect with white jeans or cream pants. See where I am going ? Yes, it can be tricky as sometimes (my default) white shoes just look a little bit too precious with white pants. I wear these heels with blue jeans and with camel chinos as well as white !
Love the love kitten heel and pointy toe and they are spongy so very comfortable. These are good too . Obviously great with brown slouchy pants. You can wear socks if you like in the winter.
Balloon chinos.
How many pairs of camel pants do I own? Let’s just say more than my shoe size ha ! But they’re all different. Of course. Lots to love about camel chinos: they’re not jeans but just as casual. They’re not boring black pants but just as versatile. They are so right going out at night with a beautiful blouse, then on weekends perfect with a striped tee, knit and sneakers. PIVOTAL to your wardrobe, these look great and incredible price too. These are Fab too
Grey shorts :
Been talking about Bermuda shorts for quite a few years now and they look great in summer but also it’s such a cool look with knee high boots in winter. I’ve ordered these shorts because the grey will lighten up all black in winter. Just wear with a little short crop jacket or try a coat that is probably the same length. of course shorts look great with slouchy knits and heels.
Black shorts are great too ! Wear the same way.
White loafers.
I’ve ordered these: I like the fake scuffs ( I will do that to my shoes anyway . LOLS. ) Very miu miu. I’ve killed my white loafers I bought a few years ago so these should be the updated version. LOVE with all pants in winter. Even with a skirt and socks.
Grey cashmere sweater.
If you want a soft versatile easy sweater this is the one to get. Love the simplicity, round neck and slouchy cut. Love how it’s styled with a sequin skirt! Otherwise you’ll wear it with your grey shorts and a brown leather jacket, with white heels. A grey knit is so chic with slouchy brown pants. With white jeans? Match made in heaven ! Divine under a camel coat. I could go on…You get the picture. This is great too
The funnel neck parka.
Love and adore this utility jacket parka ! I’ve been going on about parkas and barn jackets /utility jackets for seasons now ! SO chic with jeans and with a pencil skirt , with leather pants , it’s just the coolest. This one is FAB ! Love it with white shoes though I’d probably wear something under it ! Ha.
I will do more wintertime things like coats later in the season … But this is a winner
