Everyone stop looking : I’ve found the best leather jacket to wear into Autumn. #stealmystyle

It might be sunny out there but I am already thinking about the next season ahead !

There are a few standout pieces to invest in for winter.

And if you have been building a wardrobe over a few years ( and following SHOPwithFiFi) (Investing early in a trend) you don’t actually need many new pieces this coming ( winter) season.
Just a few interesting items that will add a bit of vava voom and instantly joosh up your current pieces.

I’m talking about things like a big coat, a sharp shoulder blazer, straight jeans, a pencil midi skirt, baggy pants, and a short jacket. (More on this in the coming weeks).

The most important pivotal fashion piece for next season?
A bomber jacket. A leather bomber jacket. In choc brown. Talk about instant wardrobe updater!
You could call it a must have !

Nabbed this fabulous pleather jacket at Netaporter and it’s a winner !
(Hint: It’s on sale and selling out so be quick).

Why you want it:

* Fabulous colour : that Olivey brown chocolate that is incredibly versatile.

* It’s work to weekend ! Looks casual with jeans and flats but totally chic with a skirt and heels.

* Meaning ? The cost per wear is super tremendous !

* The sleeves are major and give good BIG shoulders and I am here for it.

* The high strand up funnel neck collar is the chicest : always been my favourite ( it’s trending) (if that means anything?!) because I am never keen on collars and lapels on jackets as they complicate the simple lines.

* Love the rib knit detail on the collar, cuffs and hem. Gives it a sporty feel.

* A short jacket is a match made in heaven with high waist skirts and pants. Shows off your waist , even when you don’t have one , creating shape in otherwise oversized pieces.

How to wear it :
* it works with just about any colour (FiFi approved non colour Haha) from grey to black to neutrals and chocolate.
* I’ve styled it over a white tee but in the chilly weather I will layer it over a round neck knit or roll neck.
* I’ll be wearing over the same colour tones under the jacket so a brown, caramel , beige knit .
* Look for high waist pieces so they meet and have a party in the middle , so a high waist skirt, jeans and slouchy pants.
* Think three colours on the body so white, grey and choc for example.
* Would I wear this jacket over a dress? Yes, probably a fit n flare dress in the same tones , with knee high boots.

I am wearing large and it’s big , could almost have got a medium !
