How to keep warm but also look totally chic this winter ?
It’s easy !
You need the Uniqlo C heatteach cashmere blend long sleeve Tee shirts.
They are a miracle worker ( haven’t taken them off since I got them).

They are extra warm, very thin and fine ( sometimes almost sheer !) so they slip easily under anything you wear.
The perfect layering piece , as you can see I have been tossing them under knits, jackets and even shirts.
So soft they feel luxurious next to the skin. Plus they have extra long sleeves for easy layering.
I nabbed the olive, choc brown and natural ( like a cream) in a mix of turtleneck and round neck.
They are such a fabulous price ( why stop at one) those colours have slipped seamlessly into my wardrobe.

I’ve styled the heattech tees with these fabulous pieces at Uniqlo:

* The men’s barn jacket/blouson: It’s the coolest and I got large in brown so it looks fashiony and oversized.

* The knitted jacket in brown: it’s got a natty texture, a little stretchy with a relaxed slouchy cut, I got medium.( unisex)

* The cotton crew neck sweater : a little oversized, casual and looks so cool : I nabbed camel AND orange. ( Yes, moi!)

* The barrel leg jersey pants are THE best cut : High waist with a barrel cut and side pockets. A more summery fabric they will take you through to spring . (So many of you told me about these pants, so I nabbed in white, navy and olive and have to agree they’re so good)

* The best crop cotton blue shirt by JW Anderson ( who has BTW just taken over DIOR!). Use it to add colour and as a layering piece over the heattech tops.

* In the Heattech Tees I’m wearing large in brown, natural and olive in the turtleneck and medium in the crew neck .

Styling tips:

  • Layer the cream/ natural heattech Tee under a knit ( or another Heettech top) and let it peek out at the neckline and the hem. A dash of white next to the face takes years off and a little fashiony edge. Oh and it’s warm !
  • Roll up the hem of the barrel pants for a casual look and if you want to show off your shoes or keep them long as very fashion .
  • Wear the blue shirt over the long sleeve tee and layer for a pop of colour under a brown blazer.
  • Please don’t be scared of a crop shirt as you wear it with high waist pants. Or as I have done here and wear it open like a jacket over a long sleeve Tee.
  • Think about new colour combinations like camel and khaki , navy blue and choc brown.
  • Add white shoes ( heels and flats ) to lighten up the darker colour and edge.
  • Add a contrast designer belt and chic suede bag to elevate the casual pieces. .
