Found some new fabulous sneakers!

(Oh and they’re on sale too. How good is that?)

These adidas sneakers are just what I was looking for:
something a bit retro in style, not so chunky, mainly white, with a very cool sporty stripe.

I pounced on them as soon as I spied them at netaporter.
Because I knew that sneaky chestnut tan/brown stripe would go with just about everything in my wardrobe.
(if you know my wardrobe then you know what I’m talking about)( brown, tan, neutral, dollops of grey and white!)
The thing is when you stick to FiFi approved colours : it makes shopping (and dressing)(and life!) so much easier. Suddenly everything works. It’s no brainer dressing.

Let’s start with exhibit A :
Sneakers don’t always have to be worn with jeans: Mais non!
Love the look of a casual shoe with more dressed up pants, a slouchy chic sweater and a long dramatic coat or cape.
The shoes dress down the drama of the cape or long coat and add a casual edge to the leather pants.
Plus the brown stripe is a perfect partner to my Gucci bag .

Of course the sneakers are also perfect with any jeans. But I particularly love them with these brown barrel jeans and a simple white knit. It works because the sneakers slide right in with all and work back so well with two of my favourite accessories : the tan Valentino belt and the fabulous Demellier bag.
The stripe in the shoes don’t have to match exactly and because they’re mainly white they’re lighten the look too.

Hint : Are you going away on a European trip ? Then you better pack these sneakers because apart from being chic and versatile they are so ridiculously comfortable. And they’re on sale !
