When you want to ditch your coat but still need a sweater.
It’s easy.
Take your cue from Alexis Foreman.
She is so chic and minimal – and clearly not a size 8.
Proving you can easily rock oversized sweaters and slouchy pants if you style it right.
The trick here?
Toss your loose knit over a long white shirt.
Make sure your white shirt is long, with shirt tails and good cuffs.
You need to pull those cuffs out.
No tucking in gives it an effortless – I haven’t tried too hard – look.
Make sure your sweater is short or at least shorter than shirt.
Pull on your loose fit black chinos.
The square toe ballet flats make this look pretty edgy but I prefer the round toe.
But you could easily swap out for these Everlane cream loafers on sale.
Or just pull on fav white sneakers.
The thing is:  you probably have all these pieces at home.
You just need to think about a different of wearing them.
