Black lace is all you need ! #Valentine’sDay.

Black lace is suddenly chic again.
This is good news non?
Sometimes it can look tacky and cheap but I am happy to announce this season it looks fabulous!
Just in time for Valentine’s Day.
On the runways next season you can see black lace was everywhere.
All the major designers from Givenchy to Celine were showing it. And when those designers all embrace a trend you know it looks right.
I like black lace because it’s a clever way to look feminine and pretty without resorting to , you know, icky florals and frumpy frills. Yikes.
I like black lace because it’s black (!) but with interesting texture = not boring. Ever.
I like black lace because it’s sexy but you can still get great coverage on the bad flabby bits.
I like black lace because it will work summer and winter. Trans-seasonal.
My advice?
Invest in black lace tops and black lace skirts.
I’m not so keen on lace dresses because they are very red carpet.
Meaning?
They always look very dressed up and uptight. Think the #Logies. Soz.
Anyway don’t you love the idea of separates?
Makes your wardrobe seem twice as big and ten times totes more exciting.
This means you can wear your black lace top with chinos and heels. Or toss on a lace top with a leather skirt and ankle boots for day.
Hell, go crazy and throw on your lace top with ripped jeans and sandals.
Try your snazz a licious lace skirt with a grey tee and flat gladiators. It’s easy dressing. #FiFimotto.
