Off on a hot beach holiday in the Mediterranean? Italy, south of France or the Greek Islands?
It’s a heatwave in Europe !
Which is why I have had lot of requests  for a HOT holiday wardrobe ( rather than just a travel wardrobe).
What to wear when the temperature soars but you want to look chic, you may be off overseas or just going somewhere warm closer to home. (Or live in a sunny place : I’m talking to you Queenslanders !)
This is definitive hot holiday wardrobe wherever you’re going.

What to pack ?
Of course you need to stick to chic FiFi approved colours.
No surprises there !
It means more versatility and more mileage from your wardrobe.
I’ve chosen neutrals with white and touches of black, blue and tan.
But if you packed a wardrobe of just all white linen it would so right.
No ironing, easy to wash, chic and you’ll get dressed with your eyes closed.
Which is what you do when you’re on holidays right?
You don’t want to think too much , just get dressed and out the door.

Here’s your checklist …More below
Wide leg white pants: Core piece. Lunch, sight seeing, Out the dinner. Slouchy is key. These !
These cargo pants are THE Best from Uniqlo : I have in white and olive and incredible cut.
White beach drawstring pants : wear to the beach , pull on and easy ( get the matching top!)
AND black beach pants:  Wide leg, drawstring or cargo is good too. With a swimsuit and white shirt.
Wide leg beige chinos: Wear on plane with a knit. Wear out to dinner with a chic top. Sight seeing.
White oversized shirt: Toss over your white tank like a jacket.Or tucked into your jeans.
Blue shirt: might be stripe. Adds colour. Loves white. Adores tan. In love with denim.
Statement top: For going out. For when you want to look more polished, dressed up.
white tank: Goes with everything. Under a shirt. With chinos. skirts. Under a dress.
A shoulder pad tee or extended shoulder tee: It’s chicer than a plain tee and looks cool like this one . Wear every day.
Black tank This silk one is great, get every colour : Pivotal to your wardrobe. Cut away is most flattering cut.
A waistcoat : Gives coverage of a blazer without arms ! Chic. Cool. Polished (as a set with pants)
A chic black dress: Throw it on from beach to bar. This is chic too. Best with flats.
A white day dress: Easy, loose, chic and simple, wear with flats.
Linen beach pants:  Wide leg, drawstring or cargo is good too. With a swimsuit and white shirt.
A drawstring cotton midi skirt like this, in black , beige white or khaki . Perfect for hot weather with sandals and a tank.
A denim skirt: Handy with tops instead of a dress. Dark denim is chic and A line.
A white casual maxi dress: and a black maxi dress : Wear every day when it’s hot. With flats. For going out too.
A neutral knit: wear on plane over white tee. Over a dress. ( Or white denim jacket) for a chilly summer night.
A kaftan: Long sleeve. Long length. It might be a shirtdress..I have this stripe ( it’s huge  go for medium)
Or white cotton shirt dress . It’s a toss it over swimsuit kind of thing.
A stripe beach dress :  It’s easy ! It’s the only print I like. Love this one .
Shorts; Make them bermuda. In denim. In white. In cotton. Wear with heels at night. Flats for day.
A matching set: can be brown or white, any colour though not so keen on full stripe as too pyjamas for me though this is good as it’s a scarf set. 
Oh and if you need a blazer to throw over your shoulders ( Not at the beach but at a bar!). I have this: linen is good

Accessories.
Cross body bag : With a zip. In tan or brown. To wear every day. On the plane. Out shopping. This is fab.
A cute small clutch for night is chic, and small beaded bag will add instant joosh.
A big tote in canvas or a straw : So chic. Wear with everything. Beach holiday 101.
A longchamp tote for the plane: roomy, zip top, lightweight.

Sneakers: Of course. Go for white and neutrals. Love the slip on laceless sneakers. Easy.
Chunky sandals : The back strap means they are a little more ‘city’.
Birkenstocks are de rigueur: in fabric but I LIVE in these white plastic ones: ( better than thongs!)
Go for the jelly flats which are so much chicer: I will be !
(speaking of thongs: they are back in fashion but I can’t , just can’t even if they are The Row)
Net white ballets flats is what I live in for summer:
Strappy flat sandals are fabulous. In silver, black,white and neutrals.  A must buy.
Sunglasses: Brown, neutrals or white. Aviators and catseyes.
A bucket hat: these are the best chicest hats and packable too.
Otherwise buy a big beach hat when you get there !

Handy tips:
Before you go take photos of your outfits. You’ll be dressed in no time: Your family will thank you.
I like to roll my clothes, put shoes in cloth bags ( thanks COS!)
Use packing cubes: good for organising bits and pieces and separating clean from dirty.
It’s a good time to just pack carry on. Almost no point in flying anywhere with checked in luggage these days.
Perfect for when you only have a warm weather wardrobe.
(Although when you see my list you may need a suitcase. Haha lols)
Get miniature travel cosmetics and only take shoes that you have worn and know are comfortable.
Take a few extra plastic bags for cosmetics and other things.
Love this carry on, this white Passport case ( you can see easily in a black bag) and this zip pouch for phone chargers.
