What’s not to love about a shacket?
You get the decontructed shape and casualness of a shirt. With the structure and coverage of a jacket.
It totally suits the Australian lifestyle.
Laid back but with a fashion edge.
And for the warmer states it can replace a big coat on warmer winter days.

What to look for?

  • You want a big oversized shape. That’s the point of it.
  • Think of it as you would a coat so it’s preferable to go for any colour OTHER than black.
  • Go for the expensive colours like grey, camel, navy, denim and brown.
  • Cream is good and so is leather.
  • Any shacket with texture and furry fabric gives it an edge.
  • A longer length, over the knee is really cool and makes a statement.
  • But just make sure it covers your butt.

How to wear ?

  • As you would a coat: don’t do it up!
  • Toss over white or cream… a white tee or a poloneck  to lighten the look
  • Layer a shacket hanging lose over jeans or leather leggings.
  • You probably want something narrow on the bottom ( to stop the Michelin Man look).
  • Grab beige or white sneakers to balance the proportions.
  • Or joosh up your shacket and leggings with sexy pointy sock boots.
  • A shacket with combat boots is pretty hard to carry off – unless you are Rosie Huntington Whitely.
  • I don’t know about you but I don’t want to look like a lumberjack dude bro. Just saying.
  • Throw on a bumbag and voila: weekend ready!
