The coats: #1 and #2
Love a trench. Love a pleather trench. It’s a great colour. If not pleather grab the denim trench instead. Oh and if you missed out on a chic brown belted coat last season? You need this one which is long and slightly oversized but not too dressing gown !
The puffa:
It’s long and it’s warm and it’s double layer. It has a wrap front with a sneaky inside zip. Will keep you extra warm. It’s the puffa you need to wear in the city when you want to look chic and not like you’re in active wear.
The pleat skirt:
You need a wide pleat skirt. Looks fresh. Especially in faux leather. Wear with a big sweater in the same colour. And combat boots. Or knee high boots.
The sleeveless jacket:
Love a vest. Because you get the tailoring of a blazer but with room to move. Easy to wear at your desk or out to dinner. A perfect trans seasonal piece. Summer to winter.
The wide jeans:
These jeans are so flattering because the flat front gives you just that. The wide leg means you can wear sneakers. The high waist sucks it all in. Yes, please. Wear with a sweater with a sneaky half tuck.
The brown wool pants:
These are slouchy but too sloppy. Great with white sneakers and a knit, fabulous with a blazer and heels for the office.
The slouchy knits: #1 and #2
You want a knit with a side split so it sits out . This means it doesn’t cling. You want a high neck and soft colours like cream, taupe and grey.
The Boots: #1 and #2
Go for knee high. They look great under jeans and wide leg pants. You want the high heel white boots which will look fabulous with everything. Not joking, it’s all I wore last winter. Then invest in flat black riding boots. Knee high boots mean serious versatility: you can wear with skirts OR with pants. Please no ankle boots with skirts. Dated. Combat boots with skirts: Yes.
A Bag:
The bucket is totally functional and fashiony. It’s a shoulder bag without being too chichi.
