It’s the middle of summer: a good time to shop and joosh up your wardrobe.
Here’s the thing: don’t waste money on silly things you may not wear again.

Noooo!

What’s important is invest in pieces that you can wear again and again.
Pieces that you will wear right now.
Then take you all the way through to Autumn.
In fact these pieces will take through to next summer ….and beyond.
Because they’re updated classics : FiFi guaranteed to give you great cost per wear.

Your checklist:

Slouchy camel pants: Think of them your updated chinos. A peg leg is chic. So are front pleats. Wear in summer with shirts tucked in and sandals. In winter with a big sweater and heels.

Wide leg high waist jeans: You need in white and light blue denim. They can have a side pocket or a flat front.  You will also love them in winter. White jeans look great with camel coats and knits.

A blue white stripe shirt: You need this shirt to break up the neutrals in summer. It will add  colour (!) and print. (That’s about as much colour and print you ever need!) A blue shirt looks great with leather pants in winter but remember a blue stripe shirt loves denim. In any weather.

A leather shacket: It’s cross between a shirt and a jacket. And I love it. The casualness of it is perfect for the Australian lifestyle. Not as formal as a blazer. Love a camel leather shacket over a white tee on a chilly summer day or toss over a polo-neck sweater in winter. Wear it undone.

A camel puff sleeve top: This is handy dot com. Perfect for casual dinners or drinks. It’s a statement top that will joosh up jeans or look chic with leather pants. Wear in winter with a camel coat tossed over your shoulders so you don’t squash sleeves.

A white top: You need a white top that’s not a casual tee. And not a plain shirt either. Look for pleats or big sleeves or something that will add a little sophistication. That way you can elevate jeans and chinos to a chicer look. Tabletop dressing.

A camel blazer: It should be big. Slouchy. Long. single or double breasted. Wear over a white tee and jeans on chilly summer nights. Perfect in winter over a sweater.

A double breasted trench: Make it long. In a versatile beige colour. Ideal on a rainy day over a summer dress with flats. Looks fabulous with a slouchy neutral sweater in winter with leather pants.

Sandals: Flats, flats, flats! In white or taupe. Chunky or strappy. It’s all you need this summer with slouchy pants and floaty long skirts. Flats will definitely be around next summer. Will be perfect to pack for your next trip to Provence or Italy, um, er next year .
