Voila ! Sixteen fabulous pieces that should be the core of your Parisienne wardrobe.
It’s your dream wardrobe. All beautiful pieces to drool over.
Think of it as inspiration to give you an idea of what to look for when you’re building a wardrobe of chic, versatile pieces.
They might be called classics but they look desirable because they are all updated into the new modern shapes.
Ne panickez pas!
There are so many more affordable fabulous things on SHOP FiFi’s wishlist page here and cheap and chic here

Your shopping list:

The Trench: it should be long, long, long and slouchy. In a taupe or beige nor stone. Toss it over everything from a sequin tee at night to a white tee and jeans.

The jeans: Straight. High waisted. In a light wash. See last week’s FiFi Report. But I love the dark wash from APC, very Dior. They’re great when you want to look a bit dressier when you’re out for dinner.

The slouchy cream sweater: It works with everything. It loves a trench. Loves jeans and chinos and adores leather pants. Go big or go home.

The Chinos: What’s to love? They’re not jeans.  Or boring pants. They lighten your wardrobe. Go for a wider leg. Go for cropped and short or choose really long pants and wear with sneakers.

The stripe top: It’s so french. Adds print without being floral. Make sure it’s loose. Store all those tight stripe tees for another decade.

The blazer You want taupe and navy. These jackets have got to be big and eighties and oversized. Single breasted is best when they’re really big. Double breasted always looks great.

The shoes: It’s about keeping it low down. Au revoir to those too high stilettos. They never work on cobbblestones in the Marais anyway! You will love the new white Veja sneakers with a soupcon of taupe. Love and adore a taupe or white shoe. You know they change your entire look. Instantly. Drool over the square toe Loewe heels and the Chanel black toe sling back heels. Both looks great with jeans. I’m thinking of buying the Everlane round toe heels in white. To wear if I ever get out of my cream zara boots !

The handbag. It’s a either small cross body or a big shopping tote. Again best in taupe, beige, camel or tan. Those colours really joosh up all your black but also work with your new neutral wardrobe.

Accessories finish the look. I am talking about sunglasses and a chic cuff or two. That would be Celine Aviators in brown and a fabulous tan Hermes cuff , lots on Vestiare.

Get shopping and have a bon weekend ! x
