Love Uniqlo.
It’s the best, my go to for all things cheap and chic.
This week I nicked in there and swooped on so many great pieces.
There’s lots of puffa vest and winter looks – more on that later.
This week I am focusing on buy now , wear now!

Your shopping list:
The white cotton satine short sleeve blouse:  A must buy. It’s got oversized sleeves but it’s narrow in the body so you get the slouchy look without looking fat. Yikes. The cotton satine is so soft and chic. Buy in black as well. It’s the missing link in your wardrobe. You toss under a blazer or a trench. wear with jeans or chinos. Tuck in or out. Done $49.

The white gathered sleeve blouse: Now onsale $29 : Go for white and navy. You can see it works with jeans on it’s own. It’s the updated basic white shirt.

The skirt.  Go for the beige colour. It loves black or white tops. The wrap skirt sits flat across your situation (!)so it’s flattering. Also love the full elastic waist skirt in both brown, taupe and black. Go up a size so it’s not too bulky on the hips. Wear with long boots in winter with a slouchy sweater. Yes, cotton in winter will be fine. What I love is that all the skirts are longer or to the knee. None of that short business. thank you.

The dress: The seersucker camisole dress is tres flattering. I should know. I bought it. In medium. I don’t usually go for that V neckline but it’s a great cut. It’s long, it’s loose and it skims over the bits but it’s still pretty and feminine. Layer it over a white tee or shirt. Or if you want arm coverage then go for the 100% cotton drop waist shirt dress. The sleeves are long but if you roll them up it’s a great look. on sale $59.

The jeans: Love the high waist wide fit jeans: The one way to joosh up your wardrobe ? Add high waist jeans. Instantly you’re back in the groove. Because you can tuck in tops and it looks right. Get this light wash or the dark navy,  so Dior. Wide leg jeans work with ankle boots, sexy heels or sneakers. Love it with this one button crossover blazer,  it’s really chic , I tried it on , it’s stretchy and you can push up the sleeves. Also in caramel. $99. Shut the front door.
