 A short sleeve knit ( it’s a T shirt!) is so damn versatile. 
It works under a coat, a blazer or a jacket.
Best of all when it gets warmer ( or when you do; haha) it looks great on its own.
 * Love the FiFi approved round neckline ✔️ * sleeves down to the elbow for coverage ✔️ * Perfect length, hang out or easily tuck in ✔️ * HINT: I actually put in some shoulders pads in the knit , they add structure, a little fashion edge too. Let’s talk the black suede knee high boots:

Or am I just trying to convince myself it’s a bit warmer ?! whatever the weather it’s nice to have a change in wardrobe. And these colours feel fresh & new ! Do you remember this bomber jacket @theiconicau ? Decided it was just the thing to toss over my new orange tank which I nabbed this month @lululemonausnz . Pulled on my favorite white barrel jeans @zara as I’m loving this pop of colour back with camel and white. It works don’t you think ?! Adding a pop of red or orange is a simple way to joosh up your neutrals without - you know - going nuts with full on colour haha , just a little soupçon is enough for me ! Styling tips: * Add white shoes - these white woven low heel mules @theiconicau tie back with the jeans & lighten the look. * Think three colours : camel, orange & white. Why ? Two colours can be too matchy match & more than three ? It’s way too hard to think that through! And I don’t have the time to style too many colours 😂 *don’t be afraid to mix slouchy jeans with a baggy jacket. Throw out those old ideas about proportions: what’s cool now ( if you didn’t know !) is anything oversized. Nothing is too tight & that silhouette feels modern & relaxed. Everything dates: you can’t keep wearing pieces forever. They have a use by date. That’s if you want to be chic, effortless & cool. (Hint: you do!) Take this leather jacket @minima_esenciales @theiconicau It’s updated into an oversized modern shape in a patent shiny fabric , very cool ! And the rich burgundy brown colour feels new. Totally versatile it works with so many pieces in my wardrobe from a chocolate pencil skirt , blue denim jeans , dark denim & slouchy brown pants. Styling tips : Layer the same tones on top of the body : so a red burgundy knit tank @minima_esenciales under a brown burgundy jacket. Then choose whatever bottom you feel like. An oversized & unstructured jacket looks great with something narrow like a pencil skirt but don’t be afraid to mix up proportions and try it with barrel jeans & slouchy pants. In terms of shoes: I’ve styled the bomber jacket back with brown knee high boots plus burgundy kitten heels (I forgot I had !) with jeans just to tie it all together. Try layering an orange tank under a camel fleece lined jacket with white slouchy pants all @lululemonausnz Or swap out the white pants for brown leggins & sneakers for a more casual sporty look . Where would I wear this ? In Sydney (or Noosa !) when it’s chilly in the morning but then warms up in the day. When would I wear this ? When I want add a pop of colour to my neutrals. Black ! It’s always chic. And with so much brown Black ! It’s always chic. And with so much brown & camel around suddenly it feels cool again. And so easy ! The trick ? Update to new modern shapes. A high collar bomber jacket, leather midi skirt & barrel jeans. (You can’t just pull out any old black piece and think it’s right : Mais non ! Black can date so quickly ) Any black piece you buy this season needs to be in exaggerated , modern shape to make a statement (because you sure ain’t getting the fashion edge from the colour 😜) Also look for black with texture ! shine ! embellishment ! Something exciting happening: leather, satin or sequins. Head to toe all black works so well especially when there is something leather like this A line skirt with a sharp shoulder bomber jacket. It’s coat weather ! Only too happy to pull out my It’s coat weather ! Only too happy to pull out my winter clothes. Must be THE only good thing about this cold snap🥶right? Here’s a few of my favorite coats, some new, some old but all of them have one thing in common ; long & oversized . Ok that’s two but you get the idea 😜. If you are buying a new coat this season this is what to look; Go for camel, brown or grey. khaki is good too. Avoid black as your first choice. Outerwear needs to make a statement and black won’t give you bang for your buck. ( I have a few black coats that I still wear : not wrong just not worth spending money on IMO). Look for double breasted or single breasted , but make sure when it’s undone it sits across the body. You want good strong shoulders and a roomy loose cut. And make sure it’s longer in length (over the knee length) : in fact the longer the better. Hope this gives you some ideas on styling and how to wear a long coat this season . Can we talk about this fab quilted jacket @lululem Can we talk about this fab quilted jacket @lululemonausnz I absolutely love it ! * The colour : it’s a delicious olive khaki with a hint of brown that is soooo chic. * It’s lightweight but 900 down fill so it’s snug & warm but doesn’t weigh you down. * Light enough to layer easily under a coat if you need to. * It zips up to a cool funnel neck ( so right this season) ( and warm). * sleeves are curved & voluminous so gives it a fashion edge. * Love the elastic cuffs and hem ( you can tuck it under to sit on the waist) * The colour of the zip matches the jacket ( so irksome when it is brassy right?) * It’s so light it packs away into the cute little matching bag that clips in the pocket. Makes it perfect for travel ! How to wear it? For a casual look 👉👉throw the bomber jacket with brown Align leggins ( with pockets!)& track top @lululemonausnz For extra warmth I’ve layered it over a Nulu long sleeve tee ( incredibly soft and super warm !) @lululemonausnz BTW these @lululemonausnz running shoes are the MOST comfortable sneakers known to mankind (OMG soo incredibly spongy !) 
For a more elevated look the bomber is a match made in heaven with my slouchy olive pants & white heels. 
fashion tip: I’ve tossed an orange knit around my waist. It’s something I’ve been talking about for a while now : a pop of colour that will easily & effortlessly slide into your current wardrobe . How so ? Because red looks great with chocolate brown !  Designed in South Australia, every season she designs a limited-edition collection full of unique prints and cool little details.   Her brand is so original, full of colour, print & fun maximalism and I can always find something for minimalist moi ! This season I have nabbed:
The khaki trench: An oversized cut, a great length it’s one of those pieces that works just as easily with jeans & loafers or with heels. Love the cute details like the cord collar & coolest brown checked lining & big roll back cuffs. The brown cord blazer : A more tailored cut with sharp shoulders and a nipped in waist it’s the corduroy that gives it a casual edge , great for the weekend over a white tee and white jeans. Or dress it up with brown pleather pants and white pointy heels. The tie front denim shirt : A flattering cut: almost a shacket it’s in a sturdier denim so it skims and doesn’t cling and flop ( as I do under there !). The tie front gives it a more elevated look so it can be chic, smart casual . You can tuck it in but also wear it out & it looks put together.
