What’s to love ? * In a light unstructured fabric, great for spring. * The houndstooth adds a fashion edge : way more interesting that ye olde worlde plain blazer. * longer cut with big padded shoulders. * Relaxed oversized shape. Think of it as a cardigan. But 1000 times chicer ( cardigans are frumpy IMO !), meaning it’s versatile. You can wear it out and about on weekends and won’t feel too “dressed”. * The neutrals and brown houndstooth will slide effortlessly into your wardrobe & go with everything you own…Yes, even red jeans ! Styling tips : Match red sandals to your jeans , continue the line right down to your toes. Add a brown woven bag to add contrast Try the blazer with a white tee & Bermuda shorts with heels. Swipe 👉 I’ll also wear with white jeans or chinos. Outfit of the day ! Is it a shirt ? Is it a bomb Outfit of the day ! Is it a shirt ? Is it a bomber or a blouson ? I think it’s all three . This is good. Means it’s versatile. You can wear it with nothing under it. You can layer it over a tank. You can wear it open like a jacket or done up like a blouse. The elastic hem means you can pull it down or let it sit on your waist. Most importantly it stands on its own as a statement piece : it doesn’t need a jacket to look great. It has the chicness of a soft blouse but the structure of a jacket . I’m wearing here with my fav dark denim jeans and then 👉layered over a neat white tank with cool black balloon pants @lululemonausnz Other ways wear this shirt ? I’ll toss it with camel or white Bermuda shorts, white jeans & baggy camel chinos. Slouchy blue jeans of course. Adds heels , grab a clutch and it’s smart casual Done ! So happy I found these from @lululemonausnz * the best neutral colour (cypress forest ) ✔️ * Drawstring waist ✔️ * Good length ( on me anyway !) ✔️ * Lightweight woven soft fabric ✔️ * Relaxed cut & so flattering ✔️ * Machine washable ✔️ * A wardrobe chameleon - wear with heels, tee & blazer for every day city dressing or casually with flat sandals on the weekend. I’ve styled the shorts with the coolest sweatshirt ( oversized crew) @lululemonanz . Love ! It’s an exaggerated shape with big sleeves & a voluminous bubble hem in the softest fabric. It’s a statement top : you don’t need a jacket to joosh it . Also nabbed @lululemonanz the lightweight pleated track jacket in a chic khaki ( sassy sage) Swipez vous 👉 it’s really a kind of a blouson / bomber . Love with barrel pants or white jeans but more on those pieces tomorrow! Wearing a size large in shorts, a medium in the crew sweatshirt and a large in the track jacket. It’s double breasted & you’ll wear it undone. The colour : It’s a rich choc brown, as versatile as black yet softer & will work with neutrals & white. Summer to winter . The fabric : it’s a light wool twill with a teeny bit of stretch . Perfect for spring over a white tee, wearing a size 12 How I’m wearing it ! When in doubt : default to all white under everything right ?! Like these cool white Arket cotton balloon pants @theiconicau , sooo good with elastic waist and an exaggerated cut ! I’ll probably wear mostly on summer weekends or on holidays as very relaxed, almost beachy. With a white or grey tee shirt ( I’ll post in stories ). Wearing a size medium . The blazer also looks great with jeans of course, the best straight jeans from JW Anderson @uniqloau and my fav white jeans @assemblylabel .
