Do you know the fabulous brand @binnywear ?
Des Do you know the fabulous brand @binnywear ?

Designed in South Australia, every season she designs a limited-edition collection full of unique prints and cool little details.
Her brand is so original, full of colour, print & fun maximalism and I can always find something for minimalist moi !

This season I have nabbed:
The khaki trench:
An oversized cut, a great length it’s one of those pieces that works just as easily with jeans & loafers or with heels. Love the cute details like the cord collar & coolest brown checked lining & big roll back cuffs.

The brown cord blazer :
A more tailored cut with sharp shoulders and a nipped in waist it’s the corduroy that gives it a casual edge , great for the weekend over a white tee and white jeans. Or dress it up with brown pleather pants and white pointy heels.

The tie front denim shirt :
A flattering cut: almost a shacket it’s in a sturdier denim so it skims and doesn’t cling and flop ( as I do under there !). The tie front gives it a more elevated look so it can be chic, smart casual .
You can tuck it in but also wear it out & it looks put together. Double denim it : wear with your favourite jeans and heels.

I’ll add links to stories and you can find everything as always linked over on @ltkaustralia @binnywear #binny #fifireport

Let’s talk about this gorgeous brown coat @assem Let’s talk about this gorgeous brown coat @assemblylabel !

* It‘s the best cut:  slouchy with big shoulders and roomy dramatic sleeves ✔️

* Which means it looks more tailored and chic rather than unstructured and shapeless ✔️

* It’s the right longer length ✔️

* THE most beautiful soft luxurious wool fabric ✔️

* You can wear it belted or just casually hanging loose ✔️

* an incredible price for the quality : I LOVE it ✔️

How am I styling it :

It is relaxed and casual over a white tee , with baggy jeans and loafers. Or for a more elevated dressier lewk I have tossed it over the matching @assemblylabel cashmere knit ( the best cut and so soft !) with (the low curve mid rise ) white jeans @assemblylabel and my white pointy heels.

Hint /Styling tip: stick to the same colours on top of the body so a brown coat and knit, or grey coat and knit , or say a khaki jacket and green tee back with any of your jeans .

The divine brown soft leather oversized tote @assemblylabel keeps it all chic and tonal : done.

The winter wardrobe now sorted thx @assemblylabel 💯❤️

I’m wearing ;
size large in the coat & cashmere knit
Size 29 in the jeans ( go up a size !)

I’ll add links in stories and as always you’ll find all links and everything to shop at @ltk.australia @assemblylabel #gifted #shopwithfifi #assemblylabel #ltkaustralia

No matter age, shape or budget we all LOVE denim.

FiFi rule numbero uno?
Update the classics !
If you have been an avid FiFi follower you should now just keep scrolling to get shopping.. haha.

All new peeps here : start listening !
breaking news : You can’t wear classics forever.
They have a use by date, and you can’t keep pulling them out and think you look fabulous because you are wearing a ‘classic’.
You know the feeling: You look in the mirror and think something is wrong: But what could it be? You are wearing a classic blazer, jeans, trench and Tee.
Apparently they last a lifetime, are timeless.
WRONG !
All these pieces date. The length, the waist, the shoulder, the sleeve, the cut, the lapel : it all dates. Not suddenly but after about 7 years it’s time to update. ( which is why when you try to joosh up said old classics with bad accessories it just gets worse)( am I right or am I right?!)

Which brings me to culprit number one: JEANS.
Remember 10 years ago your skinny jeans were called classics? I rest my case.
Jeans are the best, quickest coolest way to instantly update your wardrobe.
Update your jeans to new modern shapes - like barrel leg or slouchy - and suddenly your old/current jackets, coats and knits will get another lease on life. Another season.
This is good.

How to wear blue denim right now ?
With chocolate brown of course !
Update to new modern shapes in denim and surround it with all tones of brown. It’s your shortcut to instant chic.

Shop my pick of the best denim & a few dollops of chocolate brown at fifi.com.au : link in bio or head to @ltk.australia

Let’s talk coats! They’re the linchpin of you Let’s talk coats!
They’re the linchpin of your winter wardrobe.

What to look for ?
* A coat that’s long. Mid shin. Longer. Knee length? That length is so out it’s about to come back in. (And I’m not joking !)
* Oversized. Go up a size. I always do. An inexpensive coat always looks alot chicer & more expensive if it’s a generous cut.
* It can be single breasted or double breasted: just make sure it up covers ‘the situation’. Meaning ? Make sure it sits across your front even when it’s UNDONE. Because that is how you’re going to wear it (who wears a coat done up except in London mid winter ?)
* Look for a coat in a versatile FiFi approved colour. You know what that means : Camel, navy, grey, brown, white , khaki , furry, suede or even leather.
* Walk past black. It’s not going to give you vava voom, bang for your buck.
* why ? Black can be so hard to style, have to try really hard with a black coat, it has to be VERY exaggerated to look cool.
* Everybody keep calm! If you DO have a long black winter coat (and I have a few!) then keep wearing them. Just don’t buy a new one.
* Surround a black coat with tan, white and camel. Fabulous boots. Cream knits. Light wash denim. Instant chic. Default to white under there.
* Remember big shoulders are happening. This is so great in a coat. Makes a statement. Looks edgy. Gives shape and drama. A more tailored coat is looking new but it’s still got to be BIG and LONG. And a cape is ALWAYS fabulous.

Swipez vous for all the ways I’ve been wearing my favorite coats this season . Some are a few seasons old but I’ll add links in stories to the coats that are available and similar over on #ltkaustralia #shopwithfifi @ltkaustralia #fifireport #coatseason
It’s finally chilly !
And I’ve found the be It’s finally chilly !
And I’ve found the best puffer jacket @lululemonausnz :
it’s called the wunder puff and you can see why !

* The colour is so chic: not too bright white and not too beige. )called “downtown tan” )(also blue and black)✔️

* It’s 600-fill-power down jacket : perfect for freezing country Victoria and New Zealand and Sydney right now 🥶✔️

* a cinchable waist & hem means you can customize the shape : No cold drafts. Also means a more flattering shape when you need it to be. ✔️

* A removable hood & a funnel neck collar : so chic this season ✔️

* An improved oversized , more modern cut , great for layering too✔️

* Machine washable : amen ✔️

Styling tips:

* these pants also look great with a funnel neck jacket ✔️

* Swap out your loafers and sneakers for pointy heels if you want to joosh up the look.✔️

* Add a choc brown suede bag and cool sunglasses and you’re winter weekend ready ✔️

Chocolate brown pants. Something you might not th Chocolate brown pants.
Something you might not think you need.
But then you realize how versatile they are !
Because this season it’s all about interesting colour combinations and chocolate brown is your starting Point.

Chocolate brown pants obviously works back with lots of tones of camels and browns, but you know that right ?!

What’s new is to think about mixing a grey knit or a burgundy blouse back with slouchy brown pants. Totally transeasonal In summer I loved a white top with the same slouchy brown pants.

A little bit chicer than jeans and a little more exciting than classic black pants you’ll find chocolate brown pants are instant wardrobe updaters !

I nabbed these last year @theiconicau but there are so many great brown slouchy pants around ! I’ll add links in stories and as always check out #shopwithfifi @ltk.australia for all my picks & the links to #fififavfinds
The best layering piece ? This fabulous camel cash The best layering piece ?
This fabulous camel cashmere knit @netaporter
It’s the elevated basic that will effortlessly slide under every single thing in your wardrobe. Swipez vous 👉

From a leather bomber with grey culottes to a crop trench & leather pants or a super duper long coat and grey jeans this gorgeous camel knit was the missing link in my life !

So soft it’s in a neater, shorter cut so it just works layered under all my outerwear ( not too bulky!) and sits perfectly on the waist with my jeans & pants. No need to worry about tucking in really as it’s just right in the length department!

Of course it’s totally chic on its own too - without a coat or jacket - because the shape is so well cut it just skims & doesn’t cling : yes please !

I’m wearing a large in the knit .

Styling tips ;
It’s all about mixing grey & chocolate brown ( if you didn’t notice !) with a dollop of camel . ✔️
Add white shoes to lighten the look ✔️
Think three colours on the body ✔️
Mix up the tones of the same colour ✔️
Don’t be scared of mixing oversized coats with baggy pants
just add a neat knit under there to keep it from an OD of too much slouch ✔️

Steal my style and shop all these pieces (if not similar!) @netaporter via @ltk.australia ; it’s so easy to shop directly from the app. #shopwithfifi #netaporter #fififavfinds #ad
Don’t you love it when you throw new pieces with Don’t you love it when you throw new pieces with old and everything just seem to work ?! It’s so good !

This is my new fabulous suede tote bag thx @strandbags with the choc brown cords I just nabbed @davidjonesstore .

Styled those with an old (still available!) slouchy neutral sweater from @netaporter and one of my favorite coats from few a years ago @shopthecurated .

The way to pull it all together?
White pointy slingbacks @netaporter. They lighten up all the tones of browns and add a little fashion edge.

My point ?
It’s about building a versatile wardrobe ; taking time to think before you buy, being a conscious consumer. I am lucky enough to be gifted so many clothes but that doesn’t mean that I choose pieces willy nilly without any thought :
No, No and No !

I take time to think about what I need, what works, what are the gaps, the missing pieces I know I’ll wear. A lot.

Because let’s remember the aim in life ;
To have a versatile modern wardrobe that has great cost per wear , a wardrobe that makes you feel chic and confident.
Which means you can get dressed with your eyes closed. In five minutes flat ! Every day. Yes, please!

I’ll post links in stories and similar pieces to shop over on @ltk.australia #shopwithfifi #fififavfinds #fifireport #shopyourwardrobe
How to be chic on winter weekends or when you’re How to be chic on winter weekends or when you’re living your best every day life?
Jackets. Jackets and more Jackets !
It’s the secret to effortless dressing.
They make or break an outfit.
Instantly joosh up everything in your wardrobe.
(Want to keep wearing everything from last year? Invest in white loafers)(more on that later!)

Outerwear is where you need to spend your money.
I’m talking Bomber jackets, Barn jackets, blouson jackets and everything in between.
What’s not to love : these jackets are cool !
They will give you structure.
Make a statement. Add a fashion edge.
They might even keep you warm. Ha!

Here are all my favorite jackets I’ll be wearing again this season. Hope it gives you some ideas !

It’s getting a little chilly ! Time to pull out It’s getting a little chilly !
Time to pull out your sweaters - finally- and try new ways of styling them.

Remember the FiFi philosophy: update the classics.
Stick to classics colours but new modern shapes :
You want a sweater that’s slouchy with room to move.
You want camel pants that are wide leg, and jeans that are baggy.

Then look at new ways of styling : a knit layered over a lace cami - you get the contrast of a pretty top with a wintery knit .

The lace adds texture, breaks up the brown tones and is a little unexpected, something soft with the denim.
Add heels , grab a clutch and when it gets colder throw on a long brown on your shoulders . Easy !

Head to #shopwithfifi @ltk.australia to shop the look- link in bio or just head to fifi.com.au for more ! #fififavfinds
Chocolate brown. Mocha. Espresso. Cocoa.
Whatev Chocolate brown. Mocha. Espresso. Cocoa.
Whatever you call it’s THE big colour for winter. Again.
It’s the third winter I’ve devoted a whole post to just to brown, and why not ?
I always love it and my wardrobe is bursting with it.
And so are all the stores !
There is so much of it around even I am struggling with the choice : I know you need me to sort through to find the best pieces …

How to wear chocolate brown?
Obviously chocolate works head to toe !
Most importantly it’s a match made in heaven with all tones of neutrals, camel and caramel.
You can try it with blue jeans, with grey jeans and white jeans. You can build around your brown pieces and then add a few other colours like navy, black, grey & denim.
Go crazy with colours like orange & blue ( oh that’s enough colours haha..).
Hint: Don’t fuss about what colours go with what , it’s the new modern shapes that count.

Remember I am not saying buy everything here.
Take your pick: It might be a fabulous bag and that’s all. Maybe some loafers. Could be a major coat or a leather skirt. Just add in one or two pieces in choc brown and watch as they work wonders and instantly joosh all your current pieces needing a little help in your wardrobe !

Link in bio for this week’s FiFi Report - FiFi.com.au - for my pick ( all 100 pieces !!) of the best of chocolate brown & how to wear it - or shop it all #shopwithfifi @ltkaustralia where you can shop straight from the app #fififavfinds
I’m having a little love-in with designer belts I’m having a little love-in with designer belts !

It’s one of those accessories that adds personality and instantly elevates everything you own.
Because a little bit of luxury goes a long way right ?

As US Vogue writes “Jewelry, bags and shoes get all the love, but a statement belt can really make a look. Think of them like jewelry for your clothes—they’re worth investing in.”
No wonder belts were all over the spring 2026 runways at Ralph Lauren, Celine, Khaite, and Chloé.

My advice ; go for a tan, beige or choc brown belt.
It’s a clever way to add another colour to your outfits .
If you have alot browns & neutrals ( me ! )a tan belt slips effortlessly into your everyday wardrobe.

Swipez vous to see how I’ve tossed either YSL or Valentino belt with everything from jeans, to leather , big coats and with shorts 👉👉👆

That’s the thing with belts they not discerning : They don’t care whether it’s summer or winter, hot or cold , casual, weekend or evening 😜

Which is why it’s an accessory worth spending money on. Because a belt is 24/7 and 12 months a year investment and you can’t argue with that right? #costperwear

My pick this season is this YSL belt @netaporter
Although big buckle belts (Celine !) are a big trend ATM I love the subtlety of a smaller belt.

Links to this outfit in stories and my picks of the best belts @netaporter is over on #shopwithfifi @ltk.australia
