A touch of lace is all you need , the easiest styling trick #stealmystyle

To lace or not to lace ? That is the question!

I am here for it !

A peek of lace adds some texture , a touch of pretty, breaks up the colours and acts as a contrast to the sporty vibe of a jacket or the toughness of leather pants. It makes the outfit look a bit more farshun !

My advice:
Invest early in a trend and get seasons of wear: Lace is actually perfect for the upcoming party season and is definitely making an appearance again at the next spring summer 2026 shows we saw a few weeks ago in Paris. Meaning ? Lace is not going anywhere soon. It’s an easy inexpensive styling trick and it’s fun.

How to wear it:
Loving this idea of a touch of lace inspired by The Row. It’s about that little bit of texture and prettiness hanging out the bottom of a knit or blazer. SO layer a white or black cami with a lace trim UNDER a knit , under a jacket, under a white T shirt. A little peek is all you need.

If you are not keen on a lace top then I suggest a black lace skirt or dress ( if you can rock that look !) : perfect for party dressing – you can wear into next winter with a knit and boots.

A few outfits I’ve been styling with a peek of lace :

OutFit 1.
The lace breaks up the monotone of a black outfit .
I’m wearing the Uniqlo black blouson , the white lace slip from DJ’s, (old) favorite pleather cargo pants and black heel sandals ( similar here) and fav YSL bag .

OutFit 2.
The lace adds a third colour , lightens up the mix of browns and denim.
I’m wearing ( old ) brown knit , the brown Uniqlo utility vest , lace slip as before, the JAG jeans and white pointy heels from commonry and my fav gucci bag ( similar)

OutFit 3.
The lace adds a pretty fashion edge to a sporty jacket and my favorite casual cotton pants.
I’m wearing the Uniqlo white blouson jacket , lace slip as before, the barrel leg jersey pants and white mules from zara
