Runway to realway: steal her style ! #Prada

Sometimes an outfit on the runway just hits a common nerve!
And it’s the look that everyone loves as soon as they see it.
It must have something about it that is fresh and new and yet totally wearable. It looks RIGHT. Of the moment.
This outfit from Prada Fall 23 collection had everyone swooning. Including me.
I knew as soon as I saw it that white skirts and a brown suede jacket were THE pieces you would die to own.
Of course fashion actually moves SLOWLY , this collection was shown in February 2023 so almost 2 years ago.
Back then it was hard to find a fabulous brown suede blazer at all.
And full white skirts were thin on the ground last summer.
( I did hunt down a few jackets for this steal her style) ( Did you nab one?) ( good work) and a few white skirts here.

Now , I am happy to report , that this ( European) winter the brown suede blazer is the HOT ticket.
And the white skirt is perfect for us this summer .
SO there are plenty to choose from , luxe to less.

What’s great about this Prada look?
I love the mix of textures, the mix of fabrics, the suede with a pretty cotton. ( fashion is always about contrasts).
The masculine blazer with the feminine skirt. The simple styling and the new shape and proportions.
This is a FiFi approved outfit !

Styling tips:
There are three colours on the body. Black, brown and white.
Love the white pointy kitten heels.
I’ve added the black bag and sunglasses to work back with black Tee.
The black bag is in a ladylike style to match the vibe of the skirt.
Same with cats eye sunglasses : a little 50’s and very Prada.
You could easily wear a camel , grey or white top under the blazer.
The best news? ( and the reason I have chosen this lewk):
These two pieces are totally versatile and will work summer and winter.
You can wear the white skirt in summer with a black tank and flats strappy sandals. With a short crop utility  jacket and sneakers. I will probably wear a white full skirt with a shoulder pad tee and slides.
The suede blazer will work in summer and looks great with baggy white jeans and birks. With white denim long shorts or with your favourite pair of barrel jeans. And of course in winter with leather pants, a skirt and slouchy camel pants.
