All over the runways for winter, neutrals but especially chocolate brown were the big street style trend at the latest fashion weeks in Milan and Paris . Got to love that.
Finally there is fashion for sophisticated women who want to look chic.
(As loyal FiFi followers know: these colours are all I have been wearing/posting here for years !) ( Meaning? Tried and tested. Know it works).
The great thing is that you can wear all these earthy brown tones together.
It makes dressing easy.
It’s called tone on tone dressing.
Nothing needs to match exactly: just layer up different tones of brown, beige, caramel and camel.
Then add white shoes. They change everything !

Update ! It’s the FiFi philosophy 101 : stick to classic colours but update into new modern shapes.

( two is too matchy match. Three is so tricky ; feel free to find the time to do it !)
Remember it’s also about styling up things differently and changing the proportions so it looks modern.
I’m talking wide pants with a big blazer. A midi skirt with a big sweater or with a short crop trench.
BTW: All these pieces are luxe to less. If something is expensive it’s because I believe it is the best example and to give you idea of what to look for. Oh, and aren’t we all here at the end of the day to drool over beautiful clothes ?! Hell yeah.
I’ve chosen a few fabulous winter pieces – how could I resist – because it’s all arriving instore right now but you could wear a lot of these pieces right now like slouchy pants and a waistcoat with a white tee.
Styling tips :
Wear it head to toe, mixing all the tawny tones of browns and any neutrals.
Don’t be afraid of matching it , wearing it head to toe : all these neutral colors love each other.
You just put them on and out the door.
Throw tans and neutrals back with your favourite denim, navy and white. And black of course.
Go for modern updated shapes : that’s how you get the fashion edge.
