It’s finally the weather for blazers. Yay.
Not cold enough for a full on big coat, too chilly without another layer.
You want a blazer or a shacket that is versatile and chic.
That means a shape that is effortless and relaxed.

Life is so much more casual these days so a structured and tight tailored blazer can look too officey

You want to a blazer that looks easy. Modern. Effortless. Comfortable.
A camel/brown/check blazer is of course the first thing to buy ( read why here).
It will lighten up your life
Then invest in a new shape slouchy black blazer:
It works so well with a white tee, denim jeans or caramel beige chinos and pleather pants ( my entire wardrobe)( haha).
A shacket ( shirt jacket) is a great option: it’s casual still polished.

What to look for?
Go for camel, then black or navy. Love a khaki utility jacket too (see here)
It should be long, definitely over the bum.
Doesn’t matter if it’s double breasted or single breasted it just needs to meet in the middle, cover the ‘situation’ with room to move.
Ignore anything short, tight or with short 3/4 sleeves: doesn’t look generous.
Shoulder pads are great , don’t be afraid of them

Styling trick:
Stick to white or camel tones under the blazer.
Black underneath looks a bit dated. Too dark.
And white next to your face takes 10 years off.
If you have an oversized jacket then straight jeans can balance the silhouette.
