FiFi Fav finds: what’s on my wishlist in February from luxe to less.
Here’s what I’ve found this month !
I’ve been looking for great pieces that you can wear now, and then into next season.
Because it’s about building a wardrobe you can wear again and again. From one season to the next.
All pieces will slide easily into your current wardrobe and give it a little joosh.
Oh and if you bought everything here they would all go together effortlessly , instant wardrobe.
Which is the point isn’t it!
A trench/coat.
Is it a coat or trench ? Because it‘s in a light woven fabric it has the look of a coat but the belted silhouette and epaulettes says trench to me. Who cares , it’s fabulous from The Frankie Shop and I have ordered it (in small ) from Netaporter : on sale, it’s so right to wear into Autumn. And I don’t have anything like it in my wardrobe. OK, mmm I have a million taupe /beige trenchcoats but because it’s not a raincoaty trench it’s different. And that’s my story and I am sticking to it ! Haha. What appeals to me is the luxe fabric, the colour is a brown/taupe and the big shoulders are cool . Love that I can throw it on with everything from leather to jeans to chinos.

The Uniqlo Trench:
Speaking of trenchcoats ! I am so tempted to buy this one. Great colour. Fantastic check lining. Trans-seasonal fabric. It’s a loose cut but I’d go up a size or two. I tried on Xl and it looked so cool. And my tip: if you up a size it’s longer in length. This is good. Wear it right now over a white tee, into winter over a knit. Remember it doesn’t have to be raining to wear a trench. This one is great for travel. Who cares if it gets thrashed , it’s not precious and won’t crush.

A fabulous tote;
If you asked me which luxe tote bag I’d love to buy right now ? It would have to be this one from Loewe. A new take on their previous puzzle tote it’s the kind of bag you could take anywhere. Unstructured, relaxed and looks low key. You could take it travelling ( probably needs its own seat in business $ haha) or just out for every day and on weekends. The colour is so chic. Works summer to winter. Oh and if I could get my hands on this Celine smile luggage tote it definitely would make me …

A chic easy camel blazer:
It should always be on your radar. Pivotal to your wardrobe. Not black but loves being seen with black or denim.
This camel blazer from Me+ Em is excellent : great colour ( not too yellow camel , not too orange camel). The cut is relaxed , single breasted with elastic in the sleeves so they sit pushed up in place. How clever ! It works with jeans but also chic enough for going out / or the office.. It’s great over a white Tee but equally right over a knit. Fabric looks like it would work across seasons: Love how they have styled with a touch of red/orange bag. This will be worth every cent.

Choc Brown baggy pants.
I got these pants last year and they’re such a great cut. On sale for a great price ! I was wanting some choc brown pants to wear with camel ( see where I am coming from ?!)(Camel blazer + brown pants= chic) and with the burgundy blouse below or say, with a light blue shirt. These pants are on sale and just such a bargain for the quality of the fabric. They’re big cut, I got 42 and could have gone smaller though slouchy is good ( they fit me now after all that eating at Christmas eeeek!). Love the styling here with the blue and brown Tee Shirts layered over each other. I’ll wear into autumn with a white tee and the trenchcoat above.

HM Sudio collection:
This is the best collection and available worldwide at the same time so it’s right on the trend richer scale ! Lots of basics and chic fashion pieces. As British Vogue writes “Basics are big business right now. Quiet luxury may have finally receded from the cultural conversation, but its ripple effect is still visible in the proliferation of streamlined tailoring, cashmere crew-neck jumpers and simple jersey tops at both ends of the fashion market.” So many great pieces here. They do get it right and the quality for the price is excellent. Love the shoes, the blazers, the leather jackets, this stunning coat dress More on my LTK product page.

Witchery net flats
Got these white flats last year and I been living in them. White and sheer, they work because they are so summery, because they are so see through – which means there is lightness to your foot. Love them with all sorts of pants
(probably not a skirt) such as jeans, slouchy pants and chinos. They are so confortable and will be right again next summer so worth buying now. More of my picks from Witchery right here.

A new shape blue shirt
You have a few basic blue shirts by now right ? So maybe it’s time to update it to a new more sophisticated shape. This one caught my eye because the sleeves are big and glamorous ! It’s a shirt you can wear as a statement on its own. It’s not necessarily only a layering piece. How to wear it? Blue with choc brown is so chic this season !

Arket cloud loose jeans:
Need more wide leg slouch jeans ? Hint: You do. They are not going anywhere. These ones from Arket ( Now at the iconic)(yay) have a cult following ! It’s because low rise, relaxed fit , 90’s style and loose leg all combine for a cool look. They are neater around the tummy so they are flattering ( read slimming!) and hang really well. I don’t need to tell you how to wear jeans do I ?! But I must say when I want to wear flats I will go for a wide leg jean but honestly as long as you get the length right ( long !) you will look cool.

APC suede tote:
Suede : it’s a big trend (as I have been saying!) again this winter: did you get a suede tote? I love my choc brown suede bags and I have thrashed them now for 2 years so now hankering after a tote in khaki/brown suede. This is fabulous as it has short AND long straps. Designed by a woman I’d say! You’ll wear it right now with khaki/brown/denim/white pants and a white tee and of course it will be perfect for winter with all those gorgeous browns and camels!

Brown Loafers;
Last week I posted about white loafers ( more below !) and I do love them. The other colour I will be investing in ? Choc brown ! These loafers from Bared are such a fabulous a version of The Row loafers at a fraction of the price and very good quality. And did you know Bared is engineered for support and so your poor troubled feet will thank you ! You’ll wear now with jeans, slouchy pants and then into winter with pleat skirts.
