FiFi Fav finds: what I love, what I want, what’s on sale , what to buy now!

Here’s a few FiFi Fav finds that I have been eyeing off .
Theses are some pieces I am lusting after.
The pieces that are a great buy.
The pieces that will spark joy. Some on sale.
These pieces will give you great bang for your buck. Cost per wear. Yes !
You will wear right now but these are also pieces you will wear into winter. Invest early and years off wear.
Because not every new year requires a total new wardrobe. Sometimes a little tweak can make the big impact.

Here’s
why you want them and how to wear them : in no particular order or theme !

A statement knit tee:
This top is what we all need in our lives. Thank you Uniqlo ! A top that is casual and chic. In a fabric that is has structure in milano knit and it sits just so. Skims and doesn’t cling. With sleeves that long and wide (give good arm).
It looks FASHIONY. It’s the updated top you will wear every day, with baggy jeans, with chinos, with a leather skirt.
I know I will LIVE in this. No ironing. Haha. Grab it and throw it on. I have ordered white and camel in large and extra large. It’s has a matching skirt, good for the office right now with white pumps or loafers, come winter with knee length boots and a trench. Buy here and here.

An olive blazer:
You should have bought a camel slouchy blazer by now and maybe a chocolate one too. You need olive. Why ? Because it’s a colour but not really haha. Because olive goes with black and camel and brown. Because it feel fresh. I have this blazer in camel and I have thrashed it for 6 years and it’s still going strong. I can guarantee that it’s the best quality, great slouchy cut, not too sharp so you can wear it casually. With jeans and a white tee , with shorts and heels. With black leather pants.  I wear a size 40. A black blazer? I rarely wear : black is not versatile, it only look good with jeans or maybe camel chinos but with black pants? Just too dull and corporate for me every day.  A camel or olive blazer LOVES black pants. Buy here BTW Arket is now available at The Iconic !_

Arket boots
Speaking of Arket. OMG love these boots. That low, low heel. That toe. The wide calf. The colour. So practical yet totally chic. Wear under your midi skirts , wear with knee length shorts, wear with a winter dress or slip under baggy jeans. Ok so you won’t be wearing right now in summer but nab them now before they sell out . Buy here

A pretty (Burgundy) blouse.
I nabbed this fabulous sheer burgundy blouse last year (see below) and it was the gap in my wardrobe. A soft pretty fabric and a little sheer with a pussy bow but it is not giving off office vibes more a sexy 70’s YSL look. It’s a great piece to wear for smart casual, when you want something elevated.  I love the idea of mixing interesting colours together this season. A burgundy blouse with chocolate brown pants. It feels fresh and new after wearing head to toe camel ! Also tried this blouse with camel pants and jeans. See below. Just to give you ideas. In terms of a jacket I will toss a trench on my shoulders . Found a few similar blouses here and here and here.

A chic summer knit.
In summer, on casual weekends when it’s a bit chilly you really don’t want to wear a blazer or jacket , it is just too formal don’t you think ? Which is why you need a slouchy knit to just toss on over your white tee or tank. Or wear it by itself. Love this knit from DISSH. Not too long to tuck in, but the right length to wear hanging out. Great neckline, drop slouchy shoulders and a good interesting hem. Love with white jeans or any slouchy neutral pants or denim. Even with a white /blue denim skirt. Laidback Chic. BUY here.

Something red : a knit
When the new Chanel designer Mathieu Blazy shows touches of red, you take note ! I Love the idea of red in accessoires or as the sweater tossed like a scarf around the neck or hips like this below. It’s the way you get colour in your wardrobe without, you know, taking over. The clever thing about this pop of colour is that you can still keep wearing ALL your neutrals and brown but it changes it up a bit.  Love this sweater from Uniqlo ( I have in camel and orange) and now it’s in a lovely red. You don’t need to spend a fortune to get the look.

A barn jacket.
Perfect to wear now when it’s chilly but right into autumn over a white tee. A barn jacket is still so right for this coming winter. Did you get one last season ? They should be loose and slouchy. Great for casual but also right with heels and a pencil skirt like this. Love the way it’s styled below over a blue shirt. This one is on sale at Arket and I adore it. The funnel neck ! The Length, the A line cut, the colour. However a short barn jacket is chic too. It’s your casual weekend jacket that you wear instead of a blazer. It’s so cool. Buy here and here .

A new handbag:
Pondering what to buy to replace my Gucci shoulder bag. Love something that is small like this one from APC: very Hermes, very old Celine. Great price. Love the tan or brown. Those colours are still right. Go with everything. This is a great size and easy to tuck under your arm when going out for dinner but also you can wear across body or on your shoulder. Big enough to throw in phone and lipstick maybe wallet. Yes, an oversized tote is a big trend and I am looking at this too. But a smaller bag suits my lifestyle ( working from home in my lululemon !) as I don’t need to cart around a ton of stuff when I go out. More below.

More of my picks right here that have caught my eye this week !
