Need now: A grey slouchy knit ! #netaporter #partner

I’m having a grey moment.
Actually I’m having a grey and brown moment.
It’s the chic colour combination that looks so right ATM don’t you think ?! An unexpected pairing it works so well : you’re putting together the two most important colours happening this season.

As you know I’ve been slowly building a wardrobe of all things camel , brown and neutrals. I have a serious wardrobe full of all those tones . ( it makes getting dressed so easy!) So I hardly need anything more in that department right ?!

But I knew I was missing something : a dark grey slouchy knit sweater.
Chic enough to wear on its own but also easily tucked in if needs be.

I found the best one at Netaporter .
To be honest I’ve been stalking it for a while as I loved the chocolate brown knit sweater you might remember I nabbed last month.

The best thing about this colour grey is that it loves black and grey obviously but it’s also a match made in heaven with chocolate, brown & camel. (Yes, my whole wardrobe haha )

Styling tips:
* As it’s pretty voluminous you can just front tuck the knit to create shape ( and show off your belt ).

* The knit can also be worn hanging out ( it has nifty side splits so it hangs really well) over the grey slouchy pants .

* I tried the grey knit under the fabulous choc brown coat and with slouchy brown pleather pants. It works !

* White pointy heels lighten the look.

* A tan designer Valentino belt elevates the look and lifts the grey and brown.

* A Brown Gucci or tan bag Demellier  breaks up the monotone and adds a third colour .

* No need to match shoes & bags.

* Go down a size or two as I’m wearing a size small in the knit; it’s big !
