The new season pieces on my wishlist right now #FiFifavFinds.
There are so many fabulous pieces in store right now .
This season is absolutely FiFi approved.
Meaning?
Sometimes there are seasons and fashion trends I am not keen on it can be a struggle to find anything I really love and want to buy ( Those winters of hot pink, bright colours, pesky prints and frumpy florals, that Gucci crazy style eeek !).
This year we are rejoicing that there are so many chic, grown up and totally desirable modern pieces to buy. Updated classics that you will ove wearing. All in my favourite colours : so excited. It makes life so much easier when you have a choice of lovely clothes to choose at any price.
Here are the pieces that have caught my eye in no particular order :
Country Road brown knit tank.
It’s that handy piece to wear now in the warm weather but later as a layering piece. Go up two sizes so it’s loose. Wear under all your brown jackets , with denim or with camel. With baggy white jeans and choc brown loafers with a camel blazer on your shoulders: yes, please ! Buy here
COS leather Tee.
It’s not for everyone but I love this. I’ve been wearing leather tees for years ( very Old Céline !). They’re a statement top that you wear on its own without a jacket. I’ll wear it with jeans or an Aline skirt or baggy pleat front pants.Buy here
Arket peacoat.
It’s grey and I have a hankering for grey. It’s the new brown haha. And it’s chic. I’m loving a shorter peacoat at the moment ( probably because I have so many long coats ! You’d think I lived in Alaska not Sydney lols) so this jacket is a missing link in my wardrobe. Wear grey with choc brown. Wear with white jeans. Wear with slouchy black leather pants. It’s selling out and I want a size 40. I’m on the notification list. But more peacoats I love below . Buy here
Scanlan Theodore white shoulder pad tee.
Love a shoulder pad . Especially a shoulder pad tee. They are a miracle worker. They give good structure and seem to stop the clinginess of your garden variety white tee. Buy here
Uniqlo puffer double breasted.
Do you need another puffer? Maybe you do ! Maybe you want a warm jacket that looks a bit more polished than ye olde worlde classic puffers. Love this because it’s double breasted and not as a bulky sporty spice kind of puffa. It’s a chic day jacket . Get into olive or navy. Buy here
Uniqlo barn jacket:
While you are in Uniqlo ! This is the coolest jacket style around. It can be tricky to style: it’s got to have an edge and looks big and fashiony – otherwise you might let look like HRH the Queen at Balmoral. Mmmm Not the look I’m going for haha. Don’t spend a lot . Make it big, push up the sleeves and wear with heels and jeans and pencil skirts . I bought this one at Uniqlo in men’s large and it’s a winner: great colour and looks fab. Buy here ( called a utility blouson!)
Country road denim skirt.
It’s an A-line skirt. Means it looks good with flats AND heels. Love the buttons. Good colour denim. Sits up high. You’ll wear it now with white mules and a shoulder pad tee with a cropped trench. Right? Yes ! In winter with a slouchy knit and loafers. Or knee high flat boots. Buy here
Brown jeans:
Loving brown jeans at the moment; for obvious reasons . They go with every freaking thing you own! They look new. Lots of brown jeans below but I bought the HM barrel leg ( did you nab a pair ?) and they are the coolest ! Buy here
Saba cropped trench
I’ve been talking about a crop trench for so so so long so you probably have one already right ? But if not this is great , looks like a dupe of my Acne crop trench with a belt. Go up a size. Buy here. And the crop trench from other stories is back in stock and it’s fabulous buy here.
Demellier Miami bag.
It’s in choc brown and also in suede. Can’t decide. Love its casual soft shape but it’s still packs a punch in style . The gold hardware is good. The shape is very Loewe. Love that it’s big and slouchy. Great price for a designer bag. Buy here
Toteme sling back wedges
Love a white pointy shoe ( they’re instant wardrobe updaters) and these sling back wedges are so right. A great colour and a low walkable heel. Buy here. Not cheap but I think worth it because I would live in them. Trying to find a dupe!
Tony Bianco suede loafers
If you’re not into white or cream shoes then go for tan or choc brown loafers. They’re your everything shoe : work to weekends, travel and out to dinner ( with white jeans : heaven!) buy here and here.Oh and if you want white flats ( you do!) these are the best. The V at the front is leg lengthening and that flash of skin peeking out lightens up long jeans !
