Need now ! A choc brown knit (it goes with everything) #Netaporter #Partner
Where is winter?!
It’s just that I really NEED to wear my new choc brown knit from the Frankie Shop that I nabbed at net a porter.
It’s the matching knit to the fabulous long choc brown coat ( also from The Frankie Shop) ( the other piece I’m DYING to wear !) which I grabbed a few weeks ago. (C’mon cold weather I am sick of my summer wardrobe!).
Love this knit for a few reasons but what drew me to it (apart from the colour of course) was the fact it has shoulder pads (you know how I love a shoulder pad ). How cool is that. That means a slouchy sweater has a bit more structure , hangs better and has more of a fashion edge.
It’s one of those knits you can wear on its own with jeans, with a skirt or with grey slouchy pants ( also Frankie Shop): it doesn’t need a jacket to help it or to make a statement. You just throw it on and out the door. Instant chic.
When it does get cold it will be absolutely perfect under the choc brown coat : a colour match in heaven !
Styling tips:
- Try a front tuck with high waist pants and/or jeans ( this knit loves any shade of denim).
- Or wear the knit long and loose and hanging out over a pleat skirt .
- Love brown and grey !
- The knit is perfect with my Frankie Shop slouchy grey pants, white shoes and any brown bag .
- Try the sweater over a blue shirt ( I pulled out the cuffs and it’s a sneaky trick).
- It’s 90% merino and 10 % cashmere
- I’m wearing a size small as it’s pretty big !
- I moved the shoulder pads a little so they sit higher on my shoulders.
Good news : this knit is 15% off : Just use code15 at checkout. You’re welcome.
BY the way lots of other pieces here and some with the 15% off at Net a porter
