It’s time to think about your winter wardrobe : This fabulous coat !

When I spied this gorgeous coat I knew it was a winner :

• Love the fabulous chocolate brown colour : works with everything in my wardrobe from denim to neutrals. By the way it’s also in the chicest camel so invest in that colour if you don’t have a camel coat.
• Big wide shoulders – super big. Get used to it , it’s a happening thang and I love it.
• Double breasted : so when you wear it open and undone, it sits across the “situation” . Because who wears a coat done up? (except if you live in London or Paris!)( maybe Wellington!).
• It’s extra long , almost floor length which I love (I almost can not wear flats with it so I might get it taken up a fraction)( then I can wear with skirts the same length).
• The fabric is a lovely soft wool blend.

• A choc brown coat like this loves jeans. I’m styling it with barrel jeans in every colour : grey, brown and white.

• Layer the same colour knit under the coat for chic tonal dressing like this knit which I have ordered. 
  Or just go for all white under it , a simple white knit/white tee/sweatshirt and white jeans.
• Think 3 colours on the body : brown, white and black and use accessories like a brown belt and any brown/tan/beige/logo bag to add extra colour and interest.
• And white shoes, always white shoes: done!
