A chic brown suede blazer + white jeans + ballet flats = Yes please!
How chic is this look?
Very ! Actually this is from May last year on The FiFi Report.
It’s so right , so chic ( I want to wear it all NOW!) so I thought I would do an update with new pieces.
There are so many great brown suede jackets around now ( last year harder to find!).
A choc brown suede jacket is PIVOTAL to your wardrobe this season.
And white jeans: Yes !
Who said they were just for summer ?
Keep wearing them straight into chilly Autumn and then straight into winter.
White jeans should be a winter wardrobe staple.
And why not : They love grey knits and tees. They love a choc brown jacket ( especially in delicious suede) and they adore camel and black. Which is ALL the colours I have in my wardrobe. haha
Styling tips:
- Go for baggy straight jeans, barrel or wide leg: both are right. Long is good. But crop jeans above the ankle are fine ( it’s the in-between non length that’s trouble!)
- White shoes lighten the look and extend the white of the jeans.
- Love the idea of a grey tee as it makes it NOT too matchy match with white jeans : A little bit of grey adds depth.
- Tuck in your grey tee or knit. ( a white tee or choc brown knit though would both work here too).
- Belt optional: Just because you have belt loops doesn’t mean you need to wear a belt.
- Make sure your outerwear is making a statement: A divine choc brown jacket is the statement piece.
- Love the idea of matching your fabulous suede bag to your jacket …( but not your shoes)(either bag or shoe)
- Add brown sunglasses to go back with the delicious brown ( black sunglasses here? Nah I do not see any black in this outfit , and brown sunglasses take it to the next level and finish the lewk).
- Stick to 3 colours on the body: grey, white and chocolate. All so chic together.
- FiFi philosophy: Keep the styling simple, update to new modern shapes and you can’t go wrong.
