Two things you need this summer : Slouchy pants & a matching vest !
There are two things you definitely need this summer .
A linen waistcoat. And seriously wide leg linen pants.
Luckily they go together as a set !
Wear them together or wear them separately .
Double your wardrobe and triple your outfits !
Either way these two key pieces will instantly update your wardrobe.
They’re the building blocks of summer dressing.
Other ways to wear these pieces ?
The waistcoat:
I’ll wear the waistcoat with baggy white or denim barrel jeans.
With white slouchy cotton chinos.
With a long white midi full skirt and white flats.
What’s to love about a vest is that it gives the structure and tailoring of a blazer when it’s hot but you’re not dying of heat exhaustion. It’s skims but doesn’t cling. Looks polished.
The slouchy pants.
I’ll wear these slouchy linen pants with a white shoulder pad tee ( as I always do !) and heels.
With a neat white cutaway tank and Birkenstocks when the weather gets hot.
Wear casually on a summer weekend with a white tee and sandals.
For going out for lunch wear them as a set with the matching waistcoat, toss on heels and a blazer on your shoulders.
Styling tips:
* Wear together as a set – it’s a no brainer and makes dressing so easy ( now we know why men love suits !)
* I’ve tossed on a cream blazer in this chilly spring weather.
*’Add white pointy heels to lighten the look ( of course!)
* In terms of length : keep the slouchy pants long .
(I got so excited to try the outfit so I will definitely get the trousers taken up )( puddle pants are good!)
* You can also wear the pants with white net flats so make sure they’re the right length to suit both shoes.
* Don’t worry about matching shoes and bags just make sure they tone in together.
* Tuck in white tee with the pants to create a waist and shape as these pants are seriously voluminous.
* Add cool sunglasses and chic YSL clutch which is the perfect colour with this set : done!
