Totally versatile: I’ve thrown the skirt back with one of my favorite pieces from lululemon : the bone trench. You know how I love trench ! This one is a total winner and I am obsessed with it .
Why?
It is pretty much rainproof but still light enough for summer.
It has a detachable hood and all sorts of nifty pockets: practical and chic.
How good is that stunning belt and cool buckle ?! Love it ! Go for a size bigger for maximum slouch.
My other favorite lululemon jacket which I’ve styled with this skirt is the sporty cinch waist jacket: Sure, it will work with activewear and all my favourite leggings but the exaggerated shape, the fabulous big sleeves and cool drawstring waist means it is perfect with the narrow skirt and my fav white heels.
Remember the key to fashion and style is contrasts: throwing opposites together : sporty with chic. Loose with tight. Hard with soft. Pretty with masculine. Casual with dressy. A pencil skirt with a sporty jacket.
Hint: I’ve also styled this fabulous skirt with my old camel blazer but of course come summer when the weather is warm and sunny this skirt will look fabulous on its own with a white tee.
