This is gorgeous Kaia opening The Valentino Haute couture collection in July.
It’s so simple.
A white shirt and Jeans.
But why does this look so chic and effortless?

Because these classic pieces are updated into new modern shapes.
It’s FiFi philosophy 101.

A white shirt : loose and oversized. The collar is a pointy and neat. The sleeves are voluminous. The cuffs are undone and major. It looks sexy and fresh totally undone of course . You can wear it how  you like ! This is NOT a tight white shirt.

The jeans? They are actually made from “silk gazar entirely embroidered in micro beads dyed 80 different shades of indigo to resemble denim”. It’s haute couture so why not ? But the point (for us mere mortals who don’t buy haute couture) is that the jeans are updated into new modern shape. And these ain’t short skinny jeans ! Slouchy and long with a slight mid rise ( though this is high rise compared to your old jeans with a 2 inch zip!).

But here’s what I love about it.
This is a fabulous example of how accessories can change the look.
Want to go from day to evening? Looking for something smart casual ?
This is how you do it.
Sure, you may not wear earrings that size (!) and your shirt totally undone but by tossing on silver dangle earrings, and silver pointy flats it suddenly changes this entire outfit.  Grab a silver clutch bag and you’re done.
Hint: I’d toss on a white blazer on your shoulders ( or tan trench or black blazer) if you need a jacket.

Now you can steal her style !
