Here are the secrets to effortless Parisienne style….FiFi approved !

  • Keep it simple.
  • Buy fewer pieces in better quality.
  • Invest in a tailored camel blazer and a long trench.
  • Make sure your jeans are updated into new shapes.
  • Invest in expensive colours: black, navy, brown, white and grey.
  • Fall in love with white shirts, slouchy sweaters and anything stripe.
  • Buy them all in one size bigger.
  • Ignore prints. Too tricky, Too aging.
  • Keep away from anything too ‘on trend’.
  • Borrow from the boys. (Menswear is cheaper too!)
  • Ditch all glitzy accessories.
  • Flee from bright kooky colours.
  • Mix it up:  old with new, luxurious with cheap but chic, high and low.
  • Go for flats : ballet or loafers (cobblestones are good for heels)
  • Always have a great haircut, a quality handbag and the best shoes you can afford.
  • Eat an entire croissant , every single pommes frites and drink with lunch
    J’insiste !
