Weekend dressing: Navy + camel + denim = chic !

The secret to casual chic weekend dressing?
Stick to the palette of navy , denim and tan .

The trick is to invest in navy, blue and white. Then add camel and tan accessories.

Your shopping list:
Wide leg side pocket jeans: Wore these all last summer in white and denim from H&M. I know they work in your wardrobe when you want to look a little chicer than just straight jeans. Now finally Country Road has their version. Look great with flats or heels.
Navy slouchy sweater: Love Arket and they do great knits. The collar is so flattering. Love the tortoiseshell buttons as they link it to all the brown. Go for slouchy like this one from Whistles . More on the SHOP pages.
Stripe track pants: Love these chilllax pants with a big sweater but also with a blazer and trench.  Try these Adidas mens or these Tory Burch track pants.
Navy blazer: it should be long. And it should cross over the ‘situation’ at the front like this blazer from Arket . The boxy style jacket with a stripe sleeve is a winner. Why? Because it’s sporty casual but you still get the flattering tailoring of a blazer.
High waist chinos: a key item for summer like these at APC, they are going to replace your jeans and black pants. Chinos look great with heels and a pretty blouse. Or dressed down with sneakers and a sweater.
A stripe knit: How fabulous is this knit from Kule? they are a chic brand: classics with an edge. Love the buttons and the fact this stripe knit is shorter. It means it can meet your high waist jeans.
A blue and white stripe shirt. Make it oversized. Wear it under your navy sweater and pull out the collar and cuffs. Let it hang out.  Or toss under a blazer. You will love it. Nicer than a white shirt. Easier to wear too.
Shoes: You know you need white birkenstock. Make sure they have a white sole not black. Too limiting. You need tan high mules, and some chic tan flats. The loafers from Everlane are the best , great price and also in cream ! Yes please.
A tan bag: There are alot always on my SHOP wishlist pages : I think the Elleme bags are great quality for the price. It’s a very handy bag, perfect size, and it has a long strap too. A chic friend of mine has this bag so I have clapped eyes on it and know it’s great.
Brown sunglasses: Go for a brown lens and frame. Better than black because it links to all your neutral pieces. It’s the little things that tie it all together.
