All 26 Vogues Unite for the First Time Ever on the Hope Issue #VogueHope.
For the first time in Vogue’s 128-year history, all 26 magazine editions unite in solidarity under the theme of hope.
‘2020—the dawn of a new decade—has left many of us feeling powerless in the face of great adversity. The challenges are everywhere: From the COVID-19 pandemic that has claimed the lives of more than 650,000 people worldwide and put tens of millions of jobs at risk, to the appalling endurance of police brutality and systemic racism, to the climate emergency and its ever-growing impact on our planet’s most vulnerable ecosystems and communities.
“We all need hope in our lives, now more than ever,” says Anna Wintour, Vogue editor in chief and Condé Nast’s artistic director and global content adviser, “so at this tumultuous time, Vogue decided to bring all the global editions together around this optimistic, humane, forward-looking theme. Hope may be hard to find at a moment of crisis, but it also feels more essential than ever. It’s part of our shared humanity, a source of delight and inspiration, and keeps us focused on a brighter future.”
Published in 19 languages and appearing throughout August and September, the 26 global editions of Vogue all celebrate hope with an aim to unite millions of readers worldwide with a positive vision of the future.’ Bring it on !
