Fun fact: I’ve been talking about leather pants here on The FiFi Report since 2014.
It was actually waaay back in 2011 that I yelped with glee and shrieked with awe when I first laid eyes on divine leather track pants in the Celine show. 
That’s the thing.
Fashion moves slowly. If you get in on the trend early you can get years of wear.

Leather pants are still so right.
And they don’t have to be black. (Although the most flattering and versatile).
Go for neutrals or khaki green. 
If you’re buying right now make sure they’re slouchy, with room to move.
If you have leather leggins or coated jeans from a couple of seasons ago keep wearing them. But make sure you wear them with a big slouchy sweater.
You need something new to joosh them up for another season.
The way to wear them?
Tone on tone. With sneakers or birkenstocks or white boots.
Come spring: I’ll keep wearing my leather pants with a white tee, check blazer and strappy sandals.
