Good news: It’s jeans weather again.
But what jeans should you be looking for?
You want a straight leg.
Ones that sit high on the waist.
That sucks it in all.
And you’ll find that once you have a higher waist jeans, all your tops from last season will look modern.
That’s because when you tuck them in suddenly the proportion looks new.
They can be faded and light blue (acid wash?!).
Or a darker blue.
The length can be cropped and frayed : a little longer is looking modern right now.
(NB: I have been scissoring off my jeans and fraying them for about 6 years!)
The message?
Ditch skinny tight low rise jeans: that’s why the word muffin top was invented!
When you’ve got the jeans right you can add a fabulous trench or blazer.
White strappy heels and a tan bag.
This is my uniform. I am absolutely in love with this look right now.
Hint: it doesn’t have to be raining to wear a trench, wear it as you would a blazer.
