Four Fav Finds…#Trenery.
This week voila… four fabulous finds…In Trenery.
The navy peacoat;
There’s always room for a peacoat in your wardrobe. Yes, the extra long coat is pivotal to your look this season but sometimes the shorter navy peacoat does the trick. Where you can swoosh around in a long coat, a peacoat is a little more low key. Good for weekends or for work. How to wear? Over a white tee or poloneck with jean and sneakers. But it will look great with a black leather skirt and knit. NB: Navy and black look great together. The best news : A double breasted jacket looks great worn undone because it sits across the muffin situation and still gives good tailoring. Buy here.
The white wide leg pants:
Can’t get enough of white pants. I think I have about 4 pairs of white jeans, straight, flared, frayed and wide leg. The thing is women think they look fat in white pants. Wrong. They are so flattering. Lighten up your wardrobe. And look fabulous in winter sometimes more than summer with grey knits and slouchy taupe sweaters. These pants have a great cut and are in a good sturdy fabric so they look polished. High waist is good for tucking in. Flat front means they are flattering. Wear with sneakers on the weekend or don’t be afraid to wear with jeweled heels out at night with a sequin top. Buy here.
The cream poloneck sweater:
You need it. You must have it. Love the neckline. The nice soft wool and the colour is great. It has a snazzy double hem which I quite like. Good for a half tuck or wear hanging out. It will look so good with black leather pants or slouchy chinos. Buy here
The Long caramel cardigan:
We’ve seen the extra long cardigan for a few seasons now. There are a few lurking in the stores right now but some are a bit lanky and don’t hold up. Too sloppy. This is a great cut, will look as tailored as a cardigan can be… plus it’s a fabulous colour. Very chic. It sits really well over a white tee or a neat knit. It’s a winner over your coated jeans/leggins/pleather and sneakers/boots. Very handy. Buy here.
