Four fav FiFi finds …..In SeedHeritage. #cheap&chic.
This week it’s four fabulous finds… in SeedHeritage.
The reversible camel coat.
You know coats this season are long, long, long. So this is more jacket than coat. But the good news? I tried it on instore and its actually longer than picture. It sits just over knee. Fabulous ! Also the colours are chicer in real life than in the pic. More camel and rust than hard yellow and orange. I’ll head instore and post on @shopwithfifi . Love the fact it’s reversible. Two for the price of one! Yes, you can wear it both ways. It has a relaxed feel like a Theory jacket. Which gets my vote. Love anything loose and easy. But it has big kimono sleeves. Tip: roll them up , it will gives it the necessary joosh. Wear with a white tee and white jeans with sneakers on the weekend. Or would look great with black pleather pants, heels and camel sweater in winter.
The black puff sleeve top:
This is handy dot com ! It’s the black top you need in your wardrobe. It’s the day to evening piece you have been looking for. It has a light fabric – with a bit of texture and yippee stretch- so you can wear right now. Without a jacket. It has great arm coverage and a loose fit so it skims over the situation. It has a FiFi approved neckline . You can wear it tucked in with jeans, with chinos and sandals. or sex it up for dinner with heels. Also there are two dresses in this fabric that are great ! Long sleeves and knee length. I’ve posted on the SHOP my cheapandchic page here.
The white shirt.
You need a chic white shirt. Not a tight fitted shirt mais non ! One that has great sleeve action. That is collarless. That means that it will sit under a blazer and look great. Collars can be tricky under a blazer. Wear this tucked into your jeans. Remember white next to your face takes 10 years off. I should know.
The satin skirt.
The flirty knee black satin length skirt is baaaack. It’s very 90’s. I remember wearing one. This is a great length, sits just over the knee. And because it’s a wrap skirt it gives it a fashion edge. Plus it’s a pretty flattering cut as it is slightly A line. The way to wear this? It’s trans seasonal ! Works in summer and winter. When it’s cold toss with a big oversized long sweater ( over your bottom ) in dark grey or navy. Yes, a black slouchy sweater works as well. Add knee high boots. Tip: Mix the knits with satin. That’s THE look for winter. A cropped jacket at the waist over a white tee would look great as well. Buy now , wear with a black tank/cami and sexy heels. NB: the slip dress/slip satin skirt is big news.
