The perfect white cotton tee.
I’m always searching.
Why?
Because all the basics change as fashion changes.
Need updating every season or so.
What to look for now?
A simple, round neckline with a neat seam.
A looser fit but not too loose: You want to be able to stick under a blazer or jacket or a dress.
Longish : You want to be able to tuck it in ( and not scare anyone on the plane when you reach up to put your bag in the over head locker !).
You want a fabric that is not see-through, in slightly thicker cotton so it doesn’t cling to ‘the situation’. It needs to look effortless. Tight never looks effortless.
Most importantly you want sleeves to stop just above the elbow.
You need wide, loose sleeves : that gives the illusion of skinny arms. #yesplease.
The perfect tee can be hard to find at an affordable price.
The search is over!
Uniqlo have not one but two fabulous T shirts.
I bought them both.
One has slighter wider, shorter shape and wide sleeves.
The other is a great fit for wearing under everything.
Both in fabulous thicker fabric.
Both are a ridiculous $14.90.  Shut the front door.
Sizing: I got large large or even XL would be good in this one
