Time to get your head around the idea that they’re modern and chic.
Ditch the boring old fashioned notion of a shrunken short boy blazer with too tight skinny pants. Dated.
The new trouser suit is so cool you will want to take it out for a drink instead of wearing it to work!
What to look for?
A long, loose oversized blazer.
It might have shoulder pads. This is good.
Might be double breasted or a roomy single breasted.
The pants are wide and/or flared, preferably long and slouchy.
It’s all very 1970’s YSL : what’s not to love about that ?
The big tip: Pick any colour except black.
Well, any colour means navy, taupe, grey, white, chec , dark green or brown
(Ignore hot pink, lime, red or any crazy check, yikes!)
Wear with a white tank or a simple shell top under it. Or a round neck shirt.
Both preferable to a collared shirt which can look messy.
Toss on any pumps, mules, sling backs or block heels.
