What have I loved wearing all summer?
My high waist, crop wide leg pants in white.
Have thrashed them for every occasion.
Talk about versatile.
I’ve worn them with a black one shoulder top and heels for drinks.
With a simple black tank and white slides for a BBQ.
With a blue shirt and heeled white mules for casual drinks with friends.
You could almost wear to the beach!
The thing is they go from casual to dressed up so easily.
They’re not jeans although they could be.
They’re not too hot and really comfortable.
Because of the high waist you get to tuck in your shirts and tops.
Which means they cover the ‘situation’ and so you look good.
The most flattering style?
Pants with a flat front, but pleats are pretty cool if you can rock them.
I bought mine from HM last year and sold out now. Soz.
But never fear fifi is here.
I’ve gone shopping and found six for you.
The best ones ( which I am sure HM copied) are the Jesse Kamm.
Not so cheap but worth every penny.
The cut is so flattering and they are in a casual fabric.
How to wear?
As you can see from the street style inspo pics toss with a black top, with a glitter top, with a blue shirt or all white head to toe.
Or toss on those chic and elegant naturals, taupe and browns. Hello, No brainer.
NB: If you can’t do a wide leg then these white chinos in Country Road are fabulous and work just as well with heels or flats.
The best news: You can wear these pants like a white jean straight into winter with knits and a blazer. That’s investment dressing ! #buildyourwardrobe.
