What to wear right now when the weather doesn’t know if it’s Arthur or Martha?
Too hot sometimes for a coat.
Too cold for a summer top.
Yes, it’s blazer time!
What to look for?
As you can see from the street style pics this jacket is getting bigger .
The trend is oversized and man style.
It might be single breasted or double breasted.
It might be in grey, camel, check or navy.
But it should always be long.
It’s time to ditch shrunken short blazers. ( and skinny jeans). soz
As I often repeat: tight + tight = wrong.
loose + loose = yes.
tight + loose = chic.
How to wear it?
Toss it with straight jeans or baggy pants.
If you’re brave you might try it with a pleat skirt or your bike shorts ( a HUGE street style trend).
Of course I won’t be doing that. lols.
But I might try it with long shorts and culottes come summer, or black leggins.
Toss it over a white tee or a simple tank, keep it narrow under there.
Cheap but chic tip: I went into H&M men’s department and tried on a navy blazer for $89. Stay tuned: I’ll be posting that pic of that on the fifireportshops instagram page.
