If you’re pondering what to wear to work then there is good news.
The trouser suit is baaaack.
Of course a lot of street style pictures have trouser suits in (gasp!) pink, orange, white or some horrible bright colour. Yee gads.
Note to self: it didn’t look good in eighties and it doesn’t look good now.
I say invest in black, navy in plain, pinstripe or check. (See the runway pics below).
The most important thing? The new shapes.
An oversized jacket ( with shoulder pads!) and cropped or slightly flared pants.
Then add a soupcon of colour with red Gucci loafers.
Cinch it all in with belt, add designer sunglasses: done!
