You need a check or plaid scarf.

The great thing is that it can wrap around a denim shirt or just a big sweater.
Pull it on over the top of your blazer or coat.
The new way to wear a scarf? It’s the cowboy look. Very 80’s.
Take a smaller scarf. Wrap it twice and have the pointy end sitting at the front like a cravat.
It’s a styling trick of the week  (and the closest you may get to the pointy end).
