A Pleat skirt ! #Cheap&chic.
Here’s the thing about fashion: It actually moves slowly.
A great example is the long pleat skirt.
First spied in the Celine pre-fall collection waaay back in 2013.

It’s only now, three years later , that you’re actually getting used to the idea of wearing a long pleat skirt. And platforms. With a belt and slouchy jacket.
Over the last couple of years the pleat skirt has repeatedly turned up in all sorts of collections from Gucci to Alexander Wang.
Right now it’s one of the key pieces of the season.
But you know that because I wrote about it on The FiFi Report weeks ago.

How to wear it ?
It’s best to wear it with your big slouchy sweater. Hanging out.
Probably with your Uniqlo men’s sweater. LOL.
With heels, sneakers or ankle boots. Or platform laceup brogues.
Tip: it’s always best to go for a bigger size so it doesn’t squeeze you in the waist. Yikes.
