Steal her style #JeanneDamas. Treschic !
French ‘it’ girl Jeanne Damas got the memo.
Model, blogger and now designer this Parisienne has that certain je ne sais quoi .
She knows how to throw it all together.
A look of effortless chic.
It’s all about the new classics. In simple colours. In updated shapes.
Repetez apres moi ! Update your basics. #FiFisaysiteveryweek.
A taupe trench: It’s now extra long. And double breasted.
Tip: The long coat should almost replace your navy blazer as THE piece to wear.
A knit: Go for navy and ribbed. And then tuck it in.
(Don’t be scared of ribbed knits. Je l’adore, they skim over the lumps but don’t cling so you get a flattering neat silhouette under a slouchy coat).
Jeans: You need high waisted, cropped and frayed. And faded in just the right denim.
Ankle boots: You want that round toe, in suede with a block heel.
Designer belt: Make it Gucci. Or Hermes. Shut up.
Note to self: The designer belt has been out. Now the belt is back. But you knew that. Bless.
What’s to not love about this look.
It’s easy. It’s ageless. Like me. LOl.
I am wearing it today. Just saying.
