How to look chic at work #officedressing.

What to wear to work?
I’ve had a few requests for help on how to get an office appropriate look.
It can be tricky.
Especially in this crazy warm autumn weather!
It depends where you work and how formal you have to be but here are a few tips:
Keep it simple. No crazy colurs and pesky prints. Duh.
Keep to knee length skirts.
Go for tailoring. It always looks polished.
Make sure you have a little arm coverage.
Ditch the idea of denim unless it’s dark and no rips please. Double duh.
Stick to the 3 colours on the body. Black and white count as colours. (!)
It’s the season of the shirt, so you need a white shirt that doesn’t need ironing.
Grab a sleeveless vest ( in every colour: it’s perfect for the office)
Wear the same colour under the vest so navy with navy , camel with camel, grey with grey.
Or layer it over a white shirt.
Forget about wearing a boring yawn matching skirt or trousers suit or even a blazer.
(Wear this Balmain blazer with jeans)
Instead look for new shapes in classic fabrics: Cropped flares in tweed, a military cape or a leather pencil skirt.
Tan heels will always lighten the look.
Pointy toe pumps look best with trousers
You can wear ankle boots with a dress and bare legs. #yesyoucan.
You can toss a chic trench over a summer dress.
